WOLF Garten LUGM Fork 2908004

This is the first Wolf-Garten tool I've owned, and I have to say I am impressed with the quality. I was unable to find any local dealer, and Amazon has pretty decent prices compared to what I found listed elsewhere. The fork has strong welds, is heavy and durable, and seats well inside the handle, in this case a 59" aluminum (sold separately). It has solid tines, and I feel it will last a very long time.The one thing I was surprised about is that the fork is a bit smaller than I had anticipated. In re-reading the dimensions, it is exactly what was described, but from the image I had imagine a much larger fork. But that was my own fault and not a negative to the tool. It still works well for getting in close to plants with little disturbance to the surrounding area.For those not familiar with Wolf-Garten Interlocken, it is a combination set where you can mix/match the handles to the tools, saving on money and space, while getting a very configurable set of tools at a reasonably affordable price. After purchasing my first couple to test out (also bought the Push-Pull Weeder), I can imagine getting several more, as I am very impressed with the quality of the products. If you don't already have a full set of garden tools, this may be worth considering early on.

Wolf-Garten makes great tools, very sturdy and will last a life time. This is just right for working ground in tight spaces or light work and not having to get out bigger tools. I also got the 14 inch handle that locks onto the metal end which gives a little more leverage and makes it easy to use without kneeling down. For anyone who does not know...any of their hand tools with that same metal end will accommodate their interlocking handles of different lengths.

Nice quality and a great system overall if storage space is a concern. Note the size of this unit so there are no surprises, it is very small.

I haven been hunting for a short handled transplanting fork for quite awhile. This my dream garden tool! I am 57, arthritic, & tired, so a lot of my gardening is from my rocker stool. The 14" handle (sold separately) enables me to uproot the daylilies to divide or transplant without getting up to use a long transplanter. It's interlocking handle is tight and stable. The tines are very substantial in digging in rocky soil. Kudos to the designer!

I love this company's products. I purchased 2 handles and numerous attachment pieces. So far they have all felt securely locked on with no issues using them as I need to in my garden. The clip on and off with ease and these attachments are heavy. Nothing feels cheaply made. Well worth the money as an investment for years of use.

I bought this because the last two garden forks I bought broke as soon as I started using them to weed, and this one looked unbreakable. What I didn't realize is that it isn't really usable without a handle to cover the end of the handle (hurts my hand with any real pressure). I'm going to look and see if I need to buy something else. I'm still giving this three stars, because it's a good start, but I wish it was clearer how this was supposed to work.

Love all my WOLF-Garten Interlocken attachments and handles. This one is no exception. Good sturdy quality. I've been using this system since it was owned by Scott's and still have several pieces purchased in the early 90s.
