This is the first time I ever let my daughter color her hair and she was so excited. She just needed to see how it’s done once and now sneaks it before school lol … The only down side I have is that it comes in a tiny with no instructions but I think it’s on the page and simple and if you have a cabinet it can just be in there it doesn’t like make a mess or anything just sitting there and comes out easy. She’s blonde though so idk if darker hair will show the color as much as hers

My hair is dark brown and it doesn’t show unless you take the comb and almost tease your hair with it. I managed to get some color but once you move your hair around the color goes away I returned both colors that I tried. The pink purple and the blue color as well

This washable hair chalk comb comes in a labeled box with a plastic head over the chalk. There is simple instructions on the box but as the product and the box are so small, are hard to read. This one came with blue and purple.Hair chalk is always hot and miss, being touchy on certain hair colors and this product is no exception. My hair is freshly dyed black and following the instructions and dampening the hair before drawing the comb through, I can get the blue to show up, but only lightly and almost no show on the purple. To get a noticeable tint of blue in the last 4 inches of my fine hair took about half of the blue.Once dried, this product does flake and powder off as well, which wasn’t an issue when my hair was up but left stains around my collar and shoulders down. It did easily wash free of hair, skin and clothing which was black at the time of use without staining.Product was also tried on someone with dirty blonde hair. The blue was much more vivid but once again, the purple took the whole chalk stick to manage the last 2 inches of hair with only mild coverage and had to be removed from the comb to use.Priced at $5.99 at the time of this review, this product tries but has some issues, to small to be comfortable to use as it with chalk that isn’t potent enough for more than a a use or two.

This worked great in my child's coarse hair. We've used hair chalk combs before, and like the quality of this one.

I bought the Hair Chalk for Kids for my 8-year-old to use as part of his Halloween costume, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations.Issues I Experienced:Smaller Than Expected: The chalk comb was much smaller than I anticipated, which made it hard to use and handle.Barely Worked: The product required an excessive amount of pressure to get any color to show on the hair, and even then, it only worked on a few strands at a time.Color Performance: The black chalk didn’t work at all on his hair, and the white barely showed up despite trying multiple techniques to apply it.Final Thoughts:While the idea of a washable, temporary hair chalk is great, this product fell short in execution. It was frustrating to use and didn’t deliver the results we were hoping for. I can’t recommend this product to others—there are likely better options available for temporary hair color.

It makes your hair knotty and hard and disgusting

I ordered this for fun to share with the nieces when they come over. The chalk works as it is supposed to. If your hair is oily or greasy then you need to wash it prior. Run the chalk down the hair with the comb. The pink came out better on my light hair. The purple came out fine but the pink was more intense which I really liked. My nieces liked the purple because it is their favorite color. They have light brown long hair. It washed out easily with shampoo. If you want a bit more intense color or you have fragile hair a spray conditioner would help. A good price for what you get.
