I thought it came out good for temporary color! I was wearing it with a Buggy the clown costume. I have light brown hair & it came out pretty bright. It was easy to put on and could have been brighter had I put more on.But it's messy. It didn't get on my clothes much and was fine when I was wearing it out but putting it on & taking off expect it to get everywhere. It got all over my bathroom, hands, shower, and I was finding specks all along the walls! But it came right off with alcohol & white vinegar! Had to wash my shower afterwards as all of it was blue & stayed on my skin for about a day.To the ppl who complained so much about the mess; it's temporary color so the point is it comes off and it's $8. Lower your expectations and maybe don't wear it with anything fancy? 😅

Definitely made my son’s hair green but it rubbed off on some of my chairs which I wasn’t super happy about. Overall it worked for what we needed it for.

Worked well enough!I applied the chalk to my daughter's light brown hair and it works decently, but the liquid "mascara" type one is much more pigmented. Afyer applying the liquid one, I combed through the hair until it didn't feel stiff but held the color. Both products do transfer, so I followed up with a kid-safe hair spray. My daughter was the cutest little Coraline for Halloween!

I needed this for a costume, but I wish I had just left my hair alone. I don't have dark hair and this didn't color it at all but my bathroom was covered in orange. Even after I washed my hair(Immediately after applying) it was still very waxy.

Messy and took a few washes to come completely out of hair. Does show up well on darker hair

I bought this to make my 9 year old son’s hair black for Halloween. I was only able to do part of his hair as it would have taken a REALLY long time to cover all his short hair entirely because it’s like a mascara wand, it also made his hair REALLY hard so I was unable to brush it after I applied the color. I would only buy again if I were only streaking hair.

I love this product. I wanted something vibrant that washes out super easily and I got exactly that. I have blonde hair so I imagine it shows up better on lighter hair since the reviews of people with brown hair weren’t all great. But you can see in the picture how blue it is. The portion closest to my roots is the mascara wand and the bottom of my hair is the chalk. The mascara is super blue while the chalk is a little more subtle. Both went on extremely easily. I only did one swipe of the mascara wand (with a little blending) and a few of the chalk to coat all of the hair. Blending both together in the middle gave a sort of ombre effect. The second picture is what it looked like after I rinsed it out an hour later, just using water, no shampoo. Next to nothing is left. I will say if you don’t comb through the mascara liquid on your hair, it leaves it pretty stiff, but combing it out worked to smooth it out! Super easy to use, very vibrant and even easier to get out.

Works well! Used on my kids for spirit day. Takes a few passes over the area to get vibrant color. Once applied, it “stays” better than hair color sprays (doesn’t rub off on clothes, car seat, jackets, etc. very easily). It did take two washes to get out with a clarifying shampoo, but that didn’t bother me.
