Reliable, slim garage door remote
When my garage door clicker gave out, I decided to buy this Chamberlain opener. It is slimmer than my previous clicker and works very well, even from a distance so that by time I'm the car is at the garage, it's already opened. Pairing the remote with my Liftmaster garage door opener was straight forward and easily done on my first attempt.

Cheap and Easy to Connect!
I got this Chamberlain garage door remote for my rental property and it's been super useful. Setup was quick and easy, and I didn’t need any wiring or tools to get it going. The remote works perfectly with both garage doors and feels solid in hand. My tenant said it was simple to use and reliable right away. For the price, it really is a great deal and I’ll probly get another one if I need to. Happy with this purchase overall and would recommend it to others.

Works great
Works great for setting up two garage doors on one device. My new car only has the ability to set up opening the garage doors if you pay for a software subscription. Not doing it.This worked great and clips right on my visor. I found installation to be easier when going a video tutorial online.

A Clicker That Clicked
As a self-proclaimed gadget enthusiast, I've had my fair share of experiences with different remote-controlled devices. However, none of them have given me as many laughs and head-turning moments as the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker 2-Button Garage Door Opener Remote with Visor Clip, Black. Let me regale you with my amusing journey. When I received the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2, I was immediately drawn to its sleek black design and sturdy construction. It felt comfortable in my hand, and the visor clip made it convenient to carry around. I followed the simple setup instructions, which took no time at all, and eagerly awaited my first test run. With great anticipation, I approached my garage door and pressed the button. Nothing happened. Confused, I tried again, but still, no response. It turns out that I forgot a crucial step: pairing the remote with the garage door opener. Laughing at my absent-mindedness, I quickly rectified the situation, and voila! The garage door sprang to life. From that point forward, the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker never failed to provide me with comic relief. On one occasion, I was standing in front of my garage, clicking the button with a determined look on my face, only to realize I was pointing the remote at my neighbor's house! Mortified, I quickly moved to a more appropriate position, hoping no one had witnessed my blunder.Another unforgettable moment occurred when I accidentally sat on the remote, causing the garage door to open unexpectedly while I was inside. Startled, I rushed to close it, only to find myself frantically pressing the button, unintentionally opening and closing the door multiple times. I couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness of the situation.Despite the occasional mishaps, the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 has proven to be a reliable and durable remote. It has a decent range, allowing me to operate my garage door from a considerable distance. The battery life has been impressive, lasting me several months before needing a replacement.Update:Since my initial review, I have had more experiences with the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker 2-Button Garage Door Opener Remote, and I'm pleased to say that it has continued to impress me with its functionality and durability. Despite the comical mishaps I mentioned earlier, the remote has proven to be a reliable companion in my daily garage door operations. One aspect that stands out is the ease of programming additional garage door openers. I recently installed a second opener in my garage, and the process of syncing the remote with the new opener was a breeze. The instructions provided clear step-by-step guidance, ensuring a seamless setup experience.I've also come to appreciate the range of the remote. I can now open or close my garage door while still a good distance away, which is particularly convenient when I'm returning home with my hands full. It saves me the hassle of having to fumble for my keys or struggle to manually open the door.Furthermore, the visor clip has proven to be an invaluable feature. It securely attaches the remote to my car's visor, keeping it easily accessible whenever I need it. No more rummaging through bags or searching in pockets to find the remote. It's always within reach, ready to click into action. In terms of design, the black color option not only looks sleek but also helps to prevent the remote from showing dirt or wear over time. It maintains its appearance, even with regular use, which is a definite plus. While the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker Garage Door Opener Remote has been a reliable and entertaining addition to my life, there is one minor drawback worth mentioning. The button placement can sometimes lead to accidental presses, especially when carrying the remote in a crowded bag or pocket. It's a minor inconvenience, but one that could be improved in future iterations.Update:Since my last update, I have had a couple more memorable encounters with the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker 2-Button Garage Door Opener Remote, and it continues to bring laughter and functionality into my life. One incident occurred during a family gathering when I decided to show off my garage door-opening prowess. With everyone watching, I confidently pressed the button on the remote, only to realize I had accidentally synchronized it with my neighbor's garage door opener. To our surprise and amusement, their garage door started opening instead of mine! We had a good laugh and quickly rectified the situation, but it was definitely an unexpected twist to the evening. On a more serious note, the battery life of the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 remote has truly impressed me. Even with frequent use, I haven't had to replace the battery since my initial review. It has proven to be energy-efficient, saving me the hassle and expense of constantly buying and changing batteries.I also want to highlight the customer support provided by Chamberlain. When I encountered a minor issue with the remote not responding as quickly as before, I reached out to their customer service. They were prompt, courteous, and guided me through a simple troubleshooting process. Within minutes, the remote was back to its snappy response, and I was back to my usual antics with the garage door. The Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker remote has truly become a conversation starter among friends and family. Its humorous mishaps and reliability make it a great icebreaker, and I've had countless laughs sharing my experiences with others. It has become a running joke in our household, with everyone eagerly awaiting the next "garage door mishap" story.Taking everything into account, I still firmly stand by my 4 out of 5-star rating for the Chamberlain KLIK5U-BK2 Clicker 2-Button Garage Door Opener Remote with Visor Clip. Its reliable performance, user-friendly design, and endless entertainment value make it a worthwhile investment. If you're looking for a garage door remote that not only gets the job done but also adds a touch of humor to your daily routine, this is the remote for you. Just be prepared for some unexpected surprises along the way!

Very good. READ THIS..
Garage door manufacturer not within list of those given.Searched company, replacement door openers are $50 plus each from them.Typical.No color codes on rear of my motor unit to indicate how to program as described in this remote manual.Unsuccessful with app, and really did not want to download their app anyway.Always a gimmick.Do this. This will seem confusing to read, however will make sense in process.Copy, paste, print this out to bring with you into garage.Slide off cover on this new opener remote, revealing program button.Note reprogram button on garage door motor unit mounted to garage ceiling after removing cover. With door closed...and on your step ladder. One is supposed to press button on new remote the amount of times corresponding to their unit listed within instructions. If not listed, like mine..Press program button on new remote once. Light will flash. With cover removed from garage door unit (if you do not see button on outside.)Press similar "program" button on garage door unit once. Will be labeled program or learn or similar.Light will continue flashing on garage unit.On remote, press button you wish to use to open garage door. When it stops flashing, press again counting and noting number of times.Again, remember, waiting to press again only after light stops flashing. You will reach certain number of times when you will notice light on overhead garage door unit go solid. That is your "number" or code..Press program button again on new remote.Opener and door now coded and linked.Done.This is process and number to remember and to notate to use with all future generic openers for your garage door opener unit. You're welcome.Kind regards
