I recently picked up a renewed SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch (42mm), and I have to say, it's been a surprisingly good experience so far. Despite some negative feedback I've seen, my own impressions have been quite positive.Upon receiving the watch, I was pleased to find it in pristine condition, complete with a docking charger and a generic cable charger. Unlike some reports, I haven't encountered any overheating issues with the charger, and the battery life has been holding up well for me, lasting around three days with regular usage.While there have been concerns raised about the accuracy of the health tracking features, it hasn't been a major concern for me personally. The basic functions like step tracking and activity reminders have been working just fine. It's important to ensure the watch is worn correctly and paired with the Samsung Health app, as outlined in the user guide, to get the most out of these features.For those looking to optimize battery life, I recommend downloading the Samsung Wear app and customizing the settings through your phone. It seems that some users may be missing out on this step, leading to unnecessary battery drain from unused apps. Following this advice has helped me maintain solid performance without any issues.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, especially considering the affordability of the renewed model. If you're in the market for a smartwatch that handles texting, email notifications, and scheduling tasks effectively, this one certainly fits the bill.

To begin with this is definitely not Rose gold. As you can see from the pictures where I had it next to two items that are rose gold. One of these things is just not like the others, and it's the watch that is found lacking.In the second photo you can see two things, one, the finish is definitely wearing off on the side of the watch. I wish the photo was better quality but, I wish the watch was too. The second thing you will notice in the photo is that the band is not the one that was supposed to be coming with it. The one I was expecting is the one that had ridges or grooves. I like that one much better than the plane smooth silicone. The pink band was also very pink.Last but not least, I had this on the charger for about a day and a half. It was at 100% when I put it on just before bed last night at 10:00. It has now been 14 hours and it's already down to 68%. I was sleeping for most of that time. And I haven't been fidgeting with it or doing any exercise that it could track this morning, which leads me to assume that if I was being active today a full charge would probably last me less than 24 hours.I will be returning this. I really wanted a Samsung watch, and I guess if I want Samsung quality I am going to have to buy new and not refurbished.

The band loops were too loose, fell off, and were lost early on. The free band end had to be trimmed, very ugly. I will be buying a new band at a jewelry shop as I can't install it myself. The watch itself works perfectly, very intuitive. Other than the music symbol having a mind of it's own, appearing and disappearing, I have had no other issues, and that one isn't critical. Love that I can have a Matrix-style sports face daily that tracks my steps, then a rose gold watch face for special occasions. Fast charging, long battery life, 24 hours for me

My boyfriend originally got himself one and when my mom tried it on she loved it as well. She's not super tech savvy but didn't have many problem with this (we also helped set it up for her. xD). The few complaints she has is the face is super sensitive, so it tends to sometimes turn on when bed sheets touch it. There is the option to turn that function off so it wouldn't light up the room when she rolled at night. However, true to mom fashion, she said she didn't want to turn it off because she liked the touch screen aspect and didn't want to turn it back on during the day.After seeing my mom and boyfriend have them for a while, I actually got myself one as well. So we have bought 3. The other reviews are correct in saying that it's hit or miss if you get the 2nd band and a decent charger. My boyfriend's watch kept saying to use the original charger and took forever to charge. My watch had no problems with the charger it came with and my mom's didn't either, though charging was slow. She, however, was the only one to receive the 2nd band. Both bf and I bought different chargers for around $10 each and we also bought a pack of new bands that had around 8 different colors for $15, which I love because I get to change out the colored band whenever I want. So as long as you are aware of the potential drawbacks and are okay with maybe buying something a little extra to make this watch perfect, then this is a great option as a new one is around $300.I would recommend, regardless of the charger you get, buying a new charger that is compatible with this watch. My bf charges his every night and I charge mine every 3ish days. We both use them from different reasons. He uses his for work as he spends most of his day running around a large building, micromanaging people. This watch is able to receive his work emails in real time because he uses the WiFi to connect to his phone, so he doesn't have to be near his phone all the time. I, however, mostly use this for the alarms, texting features and heart rate monitors, so my uses are less intensive. My mom charges hers every 3-4ish days as she uses it mostly for sleep tracking and text alerts.All in all, I am happy with the purchases and would say to give it a try.
