Worth every penny
After purchasing cheaper brands that did not last long, this is the second Peg Pergo we have purchased and will always go back to this brand. Love the details and the ease of putting together. The battery lasts a long time between charges. This was for 3 and 4 year old toddlers who have spent countless hours on it. It is a great value for the money. My only complaint is the hitch connection for the trailer on both units we have purchased has some room for improvement. One of them pops off and come unhitched on bumps and the other is so hard to connect you feel and you’re going to break it trying to.

Very well built American made toy
This is a very well built toy . I got this tractor and trailer combo that was listed as used , however it was new and in perfect condition. It looks like whoever had it first broke the plastic around the shipping screw that held the trailer to the bottom of the tractor and thought that it was irreparable and returned it. The tractor was easy to assemble and very sturdy, I like the two speed lockout that prevents my three year old from going too fast . This thing runs for hours on a single charge and seems to be stronger than other battery powered ride on toys . So far its held up great to the abuse that both of my kids have inflicted on it . The only two things that I dislike about this toy are minor, first the hood is a little tricky to close its hinge slides back and forth and takes a little practice, second the trailer hitch is junk. The lock on the trailer hitch doesn’t rotate far enough to lock . I’m not sure if the tabs are too high or the pin is too short either way it could be improved. I think I’m going to remove the plastic hitch pin and drill out the hole a little bigger and use a real tractor pin. Overall this is a very well designed American made toy and I would recommend it to anyone.

My son doesn't stop smiling while riding this... priceless
My son spends as much time as possible on this. He absolutely loves it. It fits him just about right, and is 4.5 years old. He might get another year or 2 out of it before he completely outgrows it. The trailer portion does not carry much weight. Its great for moving around leaves and sticks, but it will not hold a friend or sibling. It comes with second gear locked out. Once your child gets better at controlling it in first gear, it is a simple screw to remove to unleash a whole new level of fun for your little one. The amount of joy my son gets out of this is truly priceless.2018 update: Surprisingly, 2 years later, my son still spends much of his time on this tractor. The battery still seems as good as new. We are careful not to run the battery completely out when using, and always charge when he's done. That betting said, it is made of plastic, and some things have worn down a bit after so much use. The tailor no longer attaches to the tractor, and the hinge to open the hood is hanging on precariously. For the price, and as much use it has endured, this is still well-worth it. I still recommend this to any little one who might like a motorized yard toy.

It requires some assembly and it can be a job to stap those parts together
I got this for my 3.5 year old at Christmas. He loves it and it has held up well to him running into things. It has been tough enough to not break but it hasn't damaged anything he hit either. Charging is easy and so far the battery life is good. It is noticeably shorter in high speed. My only complaint so far is that he has to hold it in reverse and sometimes forgets he has to. It would make more sense to have it lock in reverse so he could use both hands to steer.

We love it
I looked at so many of these tractors and decided on this one when it went on sale. It had the best reviews and seem fewer had issues with it after purchasing. It was perfect for my almost 3 yr old granddaughter. She was over the moon excited to have a red tractor “just like her Da’s” so she can help him grow some cotton. Just be ready for a sore back while teaching them to drive it, lol, this one didn’t have a remote control but my granddaughter picked up on how to steer it pretty fast.

Great Tractor, but read review ...
My wife and I bought this for our 4 year old. Says it's for 3 - 7. To be honest - it's a bit small for our 4 year old. With that said - I was afraid it wasn't going to go in the grass, HOWEVER ... both rear wheels have their own motor, unlike our much bigger jeep ride-on which only has 1 motor. So, this thing plowed right through 8" of grass with no problem at all. My biggest complaint is the size - again, it could be a bit bigger than it is.1 other note - the top that closes (the hood) is a bit flimsy. My son already ripped it off by accident. Luckly you can just snap it back in place. A top down closure, versus a bottom up would have been better (although Peg Perego kept the design like a real tractor, so I won't ding them on it). That's it. Great toy -MADE IN THE USA (finally!!!), and priced right. Peg Perego ... how bout making a bigger one, like the Cadillac Escalade units Toys R Us sells? I'll be your first customer.THanks.

Love it.
It was not hard for me to put together. I did decide to leave some of the stickers off of the machine but I put all the case stickers on it. The little trailer doesn’t hole but about 28 pounds and it feels like you’re about to break it at that. My son has enjoyed his little tractor and we have carried it to 👥 Tractor It was not hard for me to put together.
