QUALITY ✅ - DURABLE ✅ - DOG LOVES ✅
The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying I’m not a paid reviewer. I just happened to LOVE this product which I purchased for my German Shepherd who loves water as a water drinking solution for hot summer days. Water buckets always seem to get gross or spilled. So when I saw this, I knew he needed it! I showed him how it worked, and it took him less than 2 minutes to figure out. The attached video was taken maybe 10 minutes after I hooked it up for him.Know your dog. I knew purchasing this that my German Shepherd would love it and use it often, but my Husky would ignore it. She believes she will melt and would rather overheat than drink from the hose or a pool. Not all dogs will love this, but with training and patience I’m sure the majority would learn to use & enjoy it.Why I chose Scuddles brand over others:- This product is 100% metal construction and very durable! It’s not plastic nor cheaply made. For the price I expected quality and this exceeded my expectations by far!- There’s a screw inside the pedal that adjusts the water pressure / how far it sprays. I played with this to get it just right for my pup. Had there not been an adjustment, I’m not sure my pup would’ve used it. It started off with a lot of pressure which would have been a turn off to him using it. So be sure to adjust this for your dog.- Splitter included for your hose or water spicket, although this piece is heavy plastic and I’ll probably replace it with a metal one in the future… it was still thoughtful of the company to include it so your hose isn't only dedicated to watering your dog all season.- Size. The pedal of this product is large enough for the largest of dog paws and easy to press for even the smallest breeds. If you’ve read all this, hopefully it helped you. I don’t generally post reviews, let alone videos/pictures unless I really love or hate the product. In this case I would 100% recommend this product and will continue to tell all my dog friends about it. :)

Very good quality
Hello allLearning how to use this device took our Great Dane about 4 - 5 minutes. While the photo looks like spraying in his face, it is quite gentle and more like a water fountain that we would use. One nice feature is that he does not ingest too much air (gas), so there is considerably less belching. Another feature is that he operates it with his hind foot to spray his belly, and sometimes, he likes to lie on it to spray his head and body! The overall quality is excellent, and the device is quite heavy and well-made.One word of caution: On hot days, be sure to run the water before your furry companion uses it, as the water can come out very hot due to the hose being in the sun.

Great design
Unfortunately my 100 lb lab never picked up on how to use this after trying the included suggestions but I think it’s just him.

THE DOG LOVES THIS!!
The media could not be loaded. My dog Candy has always liked playing in the water and loves the sprinklers but she chews them up when you turn them off. It took her about 30 seconds to figure out how to make the water come out of this and now she won't stop playing with it. The metal is thick enough that she can't damage it and heavy enough that she doesn't try to pick it up in her mouth. I have to put it away when she's done, though, or she'll keep pawing it trying to get the water to come out. This morning she went straight to the water hose and wanted me to put this out for her. The spray is a solid column of water that shoots up. I'd like to have other nozzles to make it spray in a fan shape or maybe direct two streams in different directions. Maybe I can get a 1/4" brass cap and drill different holes for different patterns. Also, it came with a quick connect fitting but not the quick connect coupler for the faucet - I need to get that to make it easier to put away. UPDATE: Candy was dragging this around by the hose while it was off and the spring popped out and it's lost. It still works because the water pressure against the switch will lift the flap. But when I turn the water off the flap goes down and the water runs out. And a CAUTION - if you leave this connected to the hose on a hot day the first minute of water will have been heating up and be scalding hot!! It's best to unhook this and let the hose drain or run it manually away from the pet until cool water starts coming out. It's Doggie Crack - she absolutely can't stop playing with this.

My little dog won't engage
My chi mix loves the hose and charges it, but didn't want to have anything to do with this unless I pushed the pad to make it spray. Even when I tried to get her to pounce on it, she wasn't strong enough to activate it. She weighs 16 pounds. I like the concept but Dixie didn't. And hooking it up to our outdoor faucet was a little complicated. Needed an extra hose to connect, and then she didn't use it.

Our boxer LOVES this!!
Our dog loves a good sprinkler, rain water, puddle -- anything other than a standing bowl of water.... this has been such an effective way to provide water and entertain our dog! He figured out how to use it almost instantly and i can tell he loves it. We do not use the splitter so we cant comment on that, we control the amount of water using the main switch. Have had several other friends get this too after seeing our pup use it!

Missing important parts and UPDATE.
Original Post: The fountain was delivered yesterday and I was so excited to see my dogs play with it. My excitement durned to disappointment when I went to assemble it. No rubber washer for the hose connection area. This caused it to leak excessively. Then, when I still tried to turn it on, I found that the 2nd port (for another hose) does not close/seal causing another leak. I will now go buy a washer for the hose connection and I will still use it. Oh... although it is easy to set up, there should have been SOME kind of directions/explanation for it. The descriptions say there is a "TRAINING GUIDE". Nothing. All I got was the platform, hose and yellow connector. Disappointing but still going to keep it and try. UPDATE: RETURNING. Changed my rating to 1 star. Got the Washer and put it in... Now the snap in hose connector wont stay on. If I put any water pressure, it just pops off. No coupling to keep the yellow connector to their hose. BAD design by not having these extra steps to keep the thing together.
