Simply can't be beat
The media could not be loaded. This train horn kit is everything I could have wanted in a train horn. It comes with a compressor & tank plus the horns and wiring, air line, and miscellaneous crimp connectors making it a complete kit that just needs to be dropped in a car or truck. After opening the box I could tell the components were high quality off the shelf components assembled into a kit paired with very detailed instructions for wiring everything together. The operation of everything is so well thought out that all you have to do is wire up the compressor and the tank will automatically be refilled anytime it falls below a threshold ensuring that the horns will be ready immediately upon the press of a switch. The horn's sound is a bit higher pitched and not quite as loud as other train horns, but for the price this setup simply can't be beat. I've been using the horn for almost a year now and every time I press the button it gets results. No more getting cut off by aggressive drivers because this will get their attention and scare them back into their lane. The attached video really doesn't do it justice, this train horn kit is surprisingly loud.----Pros----*Very high quality*Awesome price*Includes everything necessary*Loud, will definitely get results*Detailed instructions*Reliable----Cons----*Wiring & air line may not be long enough if routing under trim panels a long distance from the battery and horns*Not as loud as some alternatives

Quality
Product quality I would give a 9.8. Before I purchased, I searched with no luck. Asked about sound ..got a response. Said it sounds more like a Amtrak than a freight train. After install, it definitely does sound like Amtrak. And is loud. Install is not hard providing you have basic 12v knowledge. Advise. Look over instructions. Plan on where horns and compressor will go and dry run length of wire. I installed on a 17 titan. Comp fits nice under back set. I put horns in,on bed wall pointing down for inner horn dryness. I read that bracket will break in time so decided in bed so 1 day I am not dragging it with out knowing. Power received from trailer plug in rear of truck. White with stripe is key on 12v trailer feed. Links all 3, 12v lines together. Battery, accessory and solenoid to main feed, then to rear hookup with 1 fuse. Negative off horn solenoid went to switch at dash. Works well. It eliminated extra wire running with same results. Only this this way, key must be on to blow horn even when tank is full. Comp is super quiet. Fills fast. Hope this review helps. Only other to do is maybe some kind of rain shield over top of horns. Waterproof but will still last longer if covered.

BUY IT!!
I was shocked how much these things go for. I found this one which wasn’t cheap but half of the competitors and it has worked great. The parts are quality and it feels heavy duty. The sound is loud but not leave your ears ringing loud. To me it’s a good pitch, not a low tanker horn , but more of a higher pitched raspy train horn .

Loud but a little on the higher pitch side
Easy set up but I will recommend doing a dry fit off the vehicle to check for function and leaks. None found on this unit but the previous one of another brand was garbage and the dry fit saved me a lot of aggregation. Biggest challenge was finding suitable mounting locations for the trumpets and tank but after some modifications to the spare battery tray in an '18 Silverado, went in rather easy. Outside of that I took other users feedback and purchased a Kleinn pressure switch and solenoid for the trumpets and made sure all the fittings were tight and sealed correctly. I ran compressor off a relay as well as the trumpets off a relay for two separate switches. One for on/off power to the compressor and one to actuate the solenoid for the horn blast. A little extra planning made the end result worth it.The only reason for 4 stars is for tone quality. While extremely loud and perfect function, the tone is more to the upper side of mid range. Doesn't exactly have the low tones I was looking for but down the road may just buy a Kleinn trumpet set and leave everything else or change the bells and eliminate the high notes and have all low tones (kept the last defective unit as seller didn't want it back, again a different brand but the trumpets are just fine).

Loud. Not easy to install, but worth it if you want it.
The media could not be loaded. BAD ASS.Pros: Super Loud. Great value.Cons: A little bit more difficult to install then I thought. Since I had no room in the engine compartment, I had to mount it under the truck. Since I did not have the tools to do this (a lift, high-powered drills, self drilling screws, body clips for the frame to run the wires and tubing to the compressor, etc, etc) I had to have it professionally installed which cost me the same amount as it did to buy it. You may not have this issue, but it is something to consider when you are drunk and buying stupid things like this on Amazon!**I also got the larger tubing for the Air. Fit nicely onto the horn but I had to shave it down with a razor blade and use lube to the get it through the screw-down on the compressor itself.***Install at a slight degree facing downward if you mount it under the car, and keep it away from wheel spit. They do say it is ok to get wet and even recommended washing it out every now and then.
