Nice, affordable dragon
How to train your dragon is not really my thing - I can't even train my own children. And I'm not a big fan of the movies. Anyway, my children are ofcourse very keen on the movies and tv series and have been asking for some toy dragons to play with. This was a fairly cheap cheap set compared to the other ones with electronics and lights. It still has quite a few moveable parts. And a figure, Grimmel, is included. The fearsome dragon figure itself is quite detailed and well proportioned with good likeliness to the cartoon image. Both figures are quite sturdy and of good quality. Our small selection of How to Train your Dragon dragons has been taking along by the children on our short breaks abroad but the dragon are sturdy enough to withstand that. The children really like playing with them, so I'm quite pleased even though i don't really see the appeal.

Recommended by an 9 year old
My 9 year old who doesn't really play independently has had her imagination captured by HTTYD. She is collecting this set of toys , she thinks this one is one of the best ones. The dragon can fire a projectile and she's had loads of fun playing with it. That in itself says enough. She was able to spend her own money on it , and the toys seem pretty durable. Sometimes plastic toys can be a bit cheap and nasty but these have surprised me.

Brother loved it for Christmas
Amazing bargain for Christmas, which sort of saved me because I couldn't afford much but he was happy with this. I thought that since he already has toothless I could help him add to the collection or at least get him something HTTYD but different. We got confused about the flame and how to fire it, because it doesn't say how it works on the box, if you get confused too you need to push the left leg forward so the mouth closes, then put the flame in its mouth, then pull the leg back and it fires. Watch out because it's more powerful than we thought and it got lost its so fast. Also the little guy doesn't hold his weapon that well or sit on the dragon well, but honestly it's not that big of a deal and for the price it was a perfect gift.

Gets a Lot of Play Time
Gets played with a lot, so must be a winner! Quality seems good so will hopefully last too.

Not bad toy just maybe could have made it little better
Bigger then expected, my little one loves it, only down fall is the character carnt sit on the dragon and if you try I'm scared the legs would snap! kind of expected with price that least it could have done. Speedy delivery though.

Great for kids
Brought for 10yr old.He loves it.If you squeeze back legs. Wings flap. Not for little children as they may pull wings of if they pull hard enough.Would recommend.
