PHENOMENAL HONEY! 10 stars!!! 💜
I've tried many honeys over the years and pride myself on being a bit of an aficionado! THIS PARTICULAR Leatherwood HONEY from Australia is AMAZING...and very complex for someone looking for something delicious and different! Honey is like wine...it consists of many unique notes and undertones ....and depending on the type of soil, sun, shade, flowers & trees the bees thrive in will determine the taste. ❤️ Notes in this particular Amber Leatherwood honey include: Fruit forward/Orangy, smoky carmel, buttery, jammy, rich, caraway, a touch of rose..... and SMOOTH AS SILK!!! This Honey reminded me of a gourmet charred Orange marmalade we had in Jamaica. Leatherwood honey is NOT very sweet! On a scale of 1 - 5 ( 5 being super sweet) I'd rate leatherwood honey a #1. Which is PERFECT because I do not like honey from grocery stores since they all taste like pure sugar. Leatherwood honey color resembles "honey butter" and is the perfect with coffee, tea, toast, popcorn (hot sauce n honey- YUM!) and a healthy alternative when baking. According to my Dr. raw honey is good for you in small doses and contains: antioxidants, antibacterial, phytonutrient, antiviral and helps boost your immune system......just to name a few. The ol' saying is true, you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR...and this Leatherwood honey is WORTH EVERY CENT friends! I will be buying MORE, cuz I'm WORTH IT! ! Thank you TASMANIAN honey! ~NAMASTE! ❤️

The best honey in the world🍯
The media could not be loaded. I have tried many honeys over the years, but I can honestly say that this was one of the most unique flavors and aromas of honey I have ever tried. It reminds me of rural life and natural and organic products. Be sure to try it at least once. This is the third time I have purchased it.

Jar is too small
I love tea & collect a lot of tea & honey. I also visit a lot of tea houses so I get to try different honeys. This is one of the very best. You can taste the pureness, love the smell & great value for the money. It is so smooth & it doesn't overpower your tea. I just wished it came in larger sizes.

Great honey. Bad packaging.
THE GOOD: As honey lovers know, this honey has a strong, and to me, wonderful smell. It is more like Japanese incense than a floral scent, and some find it just too strong, but I love the unique flavor and scent it adds to my tea.THE BAD: The beautiful tin was simply sealed in a simple, unpadded ordinary plastic shipping bag and mailed. Actually, to give them credit, they did put a strip of electrical tape across the lid to keep it from popping off.I received it with 7 rim dents and one had deformed the top so the lid did pop off, partially held in its position by the tape, but the honey was luckily secured by a foil inner seal that stopped a HORRIBLE mess from happening, had it gotten hit or crushed just a little harder. The last time I ordered this, it came inside two padded bubble wrap bags, one inside the other, and it STILL got partially crushed. It is a shame to have to throw away such a beautiful tin and put this classy honey in an old pickle jar. At least double wrapped it might have prevented leakage in case of rupture. This new Amazon source charges $3 more and ships with NO protection. You can count on getting a damaged product, so be prepared with an old jar to put your new honey into, if you are lucky enough to receive it partially intact, instead of ruptured and leaking everywhere. My advice is DO NOT ORDER THIS until reviews say they have changed their shipping procedure. It really needs to be shipped in a box, as they did 3 years ago. This source is seriously endangering the mail system. Honey is a hazard when spread out in the cargo hold of a jet, or a postal conveyor belt, or even an Amazon truck. It could take the postal or Amazon workers DAYS to clean up.

Very interesting single source honey
Definitely one of the more bizarre single source honeys I've tried. As described, the honey is extremely floral. The smell advertises what’s going in the flavor: tropical flowers. I've been to Hawaii and experienced the intoxicating aroma of plumeria and the orchids from which leis are made. And this is exactly what the honey smells and tastes like. The honey is sweet, delicious and (dare I repeat myself) tropically floral. I love it but then again I desire strongly-flavored, exotic single source honeys so this product is not for those who prefer a light honey. It is delicious, however, and should be experienced for its exotic nature.

Best Honey EVER!!!
There really is no way to describe the flavor of this honey; it needs to be experienced! If in doubt, order the smaller size. New Zealand honey is exquisite and leatherwood honey that much better. Fragrant, smooth and not too sweet—it looks like whipped honey out of the can This is my second order and is a bit less expensive with free shipping for prime customers (unlike my last order from an independent dealer). This 4+ lb. size is the most economical and should last a long time.
