this is the second time i have bought the 5l times 2 sarsons malt vinegar, great deal at a great price 1 happy customer.

Can't seem to get the large 5 litre sizes from Supermarkets anymore so this can be a cost saving if you use a lot. Obviously do the calculation first!

We buy this to pickle stuff - especially Gherkins. When you pickle with Sarson's it stays pickled! Also made some pickled eggs and onions this year which will be great I'm sure. You could also just use it to refill the little bottle you have in the cupboard that you use to sprinkle vinegar on your chips. It has lots of other uses too including the calling of phantoms from the 'other world' and destroying the curses of witches. We just use it for Gherkins mainly though. We like Gherkins a lot and they are so much nicer when perky and pickled...

Much cheaper than small bottles. Using it for food. My son eats so much of it!

Choose the two 5lt malt containers without spice so I could make my own spice strength. The cost was a little more then the ready spiced version from sarson's at about 9p per litre but offset that with not having to shop around, the vinegar is darker then the ready mixed and smells great when boiling the spices. Made 14 jars at 1.14lt from 5lts with a little left over for my sarson's vinegar bottle. The jars are sarson's from last year sterilise with miltons then in a oven at 180 10 to 15 mins before bottling onions (cool jars first) the lids are from amazon, eco reuse of jars. Always happy with results from sarson's vinegar's.
