Decent game
Bought this for my 8 year old son who loves Harry Potter. The instructions weren't the best (or maybe it was just me...), we found it a bit difficult to understand. We're still not quite sure were playing the game exactly as we should but we've had some fun with it. At first it surprised me how quick one game can be! Our first game was over in less than 5 minutes! Most of the games go on a bit longer than that though. But I do like the fact that one game is quite quick as my son gets bored with games that go on and on and on... And I like the fact that I don't have to spend all day playing one single game that just drags. The game board and all the parts seem to be good quality and quite sturdy. Highly recommend!

A nice game to play.
Brought for my two girls for Christmas. They love it. Especially the flipping of the board and being able to put people wherever they want. Not clear as to if you have to go on the paths or not inside. We did though.Game is like in Cluedo in some ways except your not finding the killer your finding 4 cards to make/catch a beast.

Brilliant family game for any wizards.
Fabulous Family game. My little boy got it for him 6th birthday and loves it. He played with a 5 year old, 7 year old and 8 year old. Mummy and Daddy had to help for the first game, but after that they were all fine. A brilliant family game for any wizards.

Good
Excellent game once you have learned how to play it wouldn’t recommend for kids under 9 tho as can be a long game if card you are looking for is at the bottom of pack

Other, more interesting games are available
Obviously, if you're a Potter-nerd then it's worth a shot. We bought this for the family whilst in the midst of a heavy HP phase. But even then it did not last long before heading to a charity shop. The reason is that it is just simply not deep enough. It's mostly a roll and move. If Ravensburger ever made a Harry potter version of 'enchanted forest' that would utterly blow this out of the water. If you want HP merch then get this. if you want a simple but engaging game which involves moving around a board and collecting things then buy 'enchanted forest'.The folding board was ok, fun at first, but couldn't save it.
