Really like this steam generator iron as a replacement for my old one.The water tank holds plenty of water.Feels like I’ve been using it for years.Only thing is you have to make sure you’re putting in back on the rubber mounts straight which I didn’t have to think about with my previous one as it sat on a hot plate.

Bought to replace the same model of Iron, which lasted 3 years. Since this was a good return on the price of the item, it seemed sensible to order the same again. The iron lost a star on the fact that I have to buy de-ionised water to use it, rather than it being able to filter out any problems with tap water.It does a good job, however, and is a bargain at this price.

Used for the first time today and quite impressed,lightweight and easy to use. Three pin plug socket on side of base to store plug and opposite side a storage bracket for steam cable very handy.Pleased with my purchase.

It’s quite a good iron, plenty of steam output so it does what it says on the box. However, the cord storage on the iron is not fit for purpose: you are supposed to wrap the cord round the body of the iron and plug it into the socket on there. In practice, the cord slips up the body and ends up being a tangled mess. Similarly, the clip for holding the steam pipe is inadequate. I end up putting two parts of the pipe in the clip and the rest through the handle of the iron. Very poor design. However, other than those two gripes, it seems like a reasonable iron and it was a good price.

Maybe very unlucky given all the great reviews but unpacked it and was left with a glue like residue on the plate. Tried using it hoping it would burn off but it made it impossible to iron as it was pulling and dragging the material being ironed. Replaced with ease from Amazon and the new one looked better out the packaging. Ironed 3 things and the same fault developed of a sticky area on the plate. Also, as a few others have mentioned, the wire got very hot in a short space of time. Returned the replacement and will not be trying a third time!
