Lovely, simple, and traditional
This Advent calendar was just as I remembered them from my childhood - no chocolate or other materialistic nonsense, just a simple cardboard calendar with a beautiful design and little doors that you open each day of Advent. The picture is lovely, depicting a nighttime snow scene a little church, Christmas tree, and cute animals, and is tastefully accented with festive glitter. Each door opens to show more cute woodland creatures and seasonal-themed images. The simplicity captures the true meaning of Advent, which is patiently waiting with anticipation for the meaningful day (and holding off on the chocolate and gifties until Christmas, when their symbolism can be truly appreciated).

Lovely picture
This is a nice medium size calendar. It was a gift for my grandchildren so I haven’t seen the the pictures behind the doors but the outside has a sweet scene that gets one in the Christmas spirit. They tell me they like it.

I buy an Advent calendar every year from Vermont Christmas Company. I buy different versions and this year I chose this one. I LOVE IT. It's so adorable and peaceful. The little windows are just pictures. There are no words on the windows. It's perfect for any age. I love the simplicity and it's beautiful.

Children want to learn about Advent
Liked this product because have kids who have food allergies and can’t use the candy advent calendar, this is more fun since the kids I gave this to are animal lovers. Advent calendar is pretty easy door opening, good way to help kids learn advent and being patient about opening 1 door each day until Jesus comes.

I wish I could give this a zero stars rating!
Every Advent Calendar I have ever seen or heard of have some sort of "gift" for each day - a piece of candy, a small trinket... This Advent Calendar has nothing!!! I thought the price was high to start with, but when I received it and saw that it is "calendar" and NOT an Advent Calendar, I thought this is crazy. I am definitely sending this back. What a rip-off!!!
