Really Great Mouthpiece (I purchased the c3)
This mouthpiece is great for the price. The only issue I had with it was that the cork was thick and wouldn’t fit through into the barrel. Luckily, corks can always be shaven down with some sand paper tape :)The service was great and came quite fast and they even included a reciept page with information on how to return the product... that impressed me because most sellers don’t do that, or at least the sellers I’ve purchased from in the past. I don’t think I’ll be returning my c3 anytime soon, as it has a great sound and works great. I would recommend the c3 if you want a nice bright sound, because compared to my past mouth piece (which came with my clarinet) this one is brighter sounding as it describes on the box.

Quality mouthpiece
A pretty good mouthpiece for not actually going to a good music store and trying some out. Good for beginners or people like me who are just clowning around reliving their high school days. haha

One of three decent mouthpieces
I recently ordered this mouthpiece to test the difference between the Rico Graftonite Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece, A5, Rico Graftonite Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece, B7, and C5. As it goes, it is as advertised. The C-series certainly has a very brilliant, very light tone to it that makes it easier to play, while the A-series is much more round in tone. The difference in all three are easily noticeable.Upgrading from a no-name, no-brand mouthpiece that came with my Mendini MCT-30 B Flat Intermediate Rosewood Clarinet w/ Case, Tuner, Stand, Mouthpiece, Box of 10 Reeds, Cork Grease, & a Pair of Gloves, the C5 brought out my middle register under the bridge (low C up to Bb) and really projects my low E~G range. The upper register is still brilliant, although a little pinched, which can be ironed out through practice. If you don't have a professional mouthpiece or two, these are decent substitutes. I would recommend investing in all three to test what sort of tone you are looking for based on your play style and literature choice.

I'm a fan
To be brief, I am a fan of this mouthpiece. My old one was looking rather nasty (as it should being many, many years old) and as I was trying to pick up playing my instrument again, I chose this Rico. It's a very balanced mouthpiece, not too bright, and is not too difficult to play on for someone who hadn't picked up his clarinet in years. I'm used to a flat mouthpiece, so the ridge where the reed lines up did take some time to get used to, but feels natural now.For the price, this is the right mouthpiece.

So far so good
This is my first time to get a branded clarinet parts. I'm just learning to play and bought a chaines clarinet with unkown mouthpiece and reeds.but now I got this along with B5 in addition to rico reeds 2, 2.5.They sound good so far but the only problem is that I learned to play on my clarinet which seems to be a garbage.Anyway, rico is a very well known brand and they are on of the best in the reeds and mouthpieces.if you have the chance to try before buying, do it just to find which reeds andmouthpieces will fit you.

A must have!!
AMAZING!! I bought a cheap beginners clarinet off of here to play around with and see if I liked the clarinet. I was having a hard time being consistent with my sound and was having some squeaking issues. This mouth piece fixed all of that instantly. It’s so much easier to produce a clean and consistent tone and I haven’t squeaked once. I feel like this made my cheap clarinet sound like a top of the line clarinet. I got the C7 in hopes of a more crisp time and it’s amazing. I live playing the clarinet but not a huge fan of the darker tone of it and this mouth piece fixes that instantly.

What's with the alphabet system?
Grew up playing the clarinet and there was no alphabet and numerical system. Not sure what's up with this new gimmick. The cork's a bit chunky. Just took a scissors to it and it fits perfectly. You could also sand the cork with sandpaper to fit. Works well. Good sound and seems well made. Would not recommend for a beginner. This mouthpiece requires a lot of air.
