worked well for my use
I connected this to a submerged pump to suck water out of a water feature, and it worked great. I have only used this a few times in a three week span, and thus I cannot speak to durability. The plastic is very thin, but that is a good thing for me because the water needs to flow, and when not in use, it will collapse and roll up to be small for storage. I would buy this again.

Does what it is supposed to do
Its a very long, heavy duty hose that I am using on my backwash port of my sand filter. I knocked off a star due to a few pin hole leaks, but overall they don't matter for how I am using it and the location of my sand filter. All the leaks were in the first 3' of the hose so I don't know if it was just damaged in transit or if it is a overall quality issue. This is inexpensive and does the job I need it to do.I ended up cutting off 15' and using that because I don't need to pump the water 50' away.

Better than most
This stuff has about a 2-year lifespan if left out in the weather year around. Having been in the pool business for decades, I've learned that's about the most you can expect from this kind of hose. However, it's not impervious to damage from being punctured or cut. Don't leave it laid out in traffic conditions or where things will rub or wear on it. Also, if putting it away, take the time to roll it up and unroll it for use later rather than just toss it. If this kinks and has high pressure on it, it will burst.

great value and good quality
very useable and sturdy. Much better than other similar products than basically disintegrated over the summer while being used.

Cheap material that splits within minutes
Material is 100% garbage. Immediately split along the seam when connected to frequently purchased together pump. Cut the split part out and within 10 minutes another split at the seam. Very disappointing. Buyer beware of this cheap quality!!!

Sturdy Hose
Bought this as an emergency sump pump kit in case my basement flooded again. I didn't buy the right size hose HOWEVER (pro tip) use a hair dryer to make the hose a bit larger (within reason) to fit slightly larger diameter pipes. It is a thick hose and will likely need to be unraveled to "breathe" before first use as some of the insides of it are sticking together.

Sprout leaks easily.
For its price I would hope for more durability—not durable. It is quick to sprout leaks if it rubs agains the pavement or patio. Keep lots of wet adhesion tape on hand.
