Easy to install. Works great. It moves easily into the best position and equally easily gets banged out of the way - which means it doesn’t get damaged when you bump it.

WEAK MATERIALS BREAK EASILY
Positive - Mounting system is very easy and simple. Included are 2 different length sets of bolts for different size bicycle bars and a small Allen (hex) key wrench is included for tightening them. Bolts seem of good quality or even 'chromed' and probably will not rust quickly or ever. I mounted this on my Profile Design Aero Bar (a type of handlebar extension) I used a strip of old inner tube wrapped around the bar before fitting on the mirror clamp to 'shim' under the mounting clamp as this gives a better fit for holding in place without over tightening. The mirror itself is optically O. K. and acceptable. It is a convex mirror (round in shape) that makes objects and vehicles look much smaller, but if someone can't see a car approaching behind them, then they have vision issues not mirror issues. The appearance of the mirror is definitely inexpensive plastic, but the design is attractive and the size of the mirror itself is about the size of a hardball baseball. The flexible shaft is metal covered with vinyl and seems good - stiff, but not too stiff - just good for bending to adjust and holds in place. Some reviews spoke of vibrating and the image in the mirror moving around. There is some slight vibrating, but it is not really a problem.Negative - Issue #1 - The mirror itself was detached from the frame inside the package when it arrived. I tried to work the mirror back into the frame and discovered that the mirror is held into the frame by flexing it to be more convex and inserting the edges under under 3 little peg protrusions from the round frame edges. And, then, in theory, when one releases the flexing of the plastic, the mirror just stays attached under the 3 frame peg protrusions. This DOES NOT WORK. Therefore I took a philosophical approach and said "at this price I shouldn't expect it to be perfect" and I put a drop of "Original Super Glue" (available on Amazon) on top of each little peg protrusion and glued the mirror into the frame and into place. I did this neatly and it did not damage the optics of the mirror and doesn't detract from the looks of it. Issue # 2 - The plastic materials are a little fragile and on a child's bike would never last without breaking very quickly. For an adult, with reasonable carefulness, I don't think the fragileness of the plastics is a problem. The problem is that one tends to adjust the mirror by holding the round mirror frame and twisting or bending the flexible extension between the mirror and the handlebar. I think this would rapidly break the mirror plastic off the flexible shaft or break the shaft off the handlebar clamp mount, which is cheap and brittle. The solution is to always remember to adjust the mirror my holding ONLY the flexible shaft when adjusting by twisting or bending the shaft. This works good and I actually bought another one for my second bike. I have only used this mirror for a week, so if it explodes or something I will change this review later!

Rear view plastic mirror
I will use this on EBIKE because road usage will be less then 1/2 of my riding. I only need Left side mirror. It is plastic and not glass, that is ok it is very clear. great quality and it is very firm, noy wiggly.

Broke Within Two Days
The product seemed fine upon receiving. The mounting system is two Allen screws which allows the product to fasten to the handlebars. The mirror itself is a bit cheap-feeling, but has a convenient adjustment system that allows you to position the mirror within it's housing by pressing on a side.During riding, however, the mirror arm bounces a LOT, which makes it very difficult to see ANYTHING. This alone is not a deal-breaker, just a bit annoying. The real problem is that after two days of riding with this product, the mirror arm developed a mind of it's own and stopped staying in place. It began turning and flopping around like a flaccid wiener during rides, making it completely unusable. When I tried using an Allen key to remove the mount, the soft metal in the screws stripped. I then found that the metal inside the mounting arm had sheared off and was likely also made of subpar metal. I am now stuck with a permanent flaccid fixture that bounces around in my field of vision at all times, like a particularly haunting nightmare.I'm not sure that even a refund would be enough to cover the detrimental damage this has done to both my bike and my psyche. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!

It fulfills a safety function but installation is not easy.
Once installed the mirror is stable and its convex surface is pivot mounted, which makes it easy for fine adjustments. But installing the whole thing it is not necessarily straightforward or easy. The plastic covered aluminum stalk is easy to BEND sideways (and hold the bend), but I was concerned about the destructive effort required to TWIST the stalk so the mirror would face rearward on my swept-back handelbar. Both the plastic mirror housing and the plastic split-clamp are attached to the stalk only by one sheet metal screw through each. I was concerned that these plastic pieces would break at the attaching screws if I tried to twist the stalk by turning the mirror and clamp in opposite directions. I therefore removed both sheet metal screws (and the mirror and clamp) and successfully twisted the stalk by holding one end of it in a vice, while twisting the opposite end with a wrench. It took a bit of force. Finally about fussy installation, the kit comes with several extra socket-head machine screws to tighten the split-clamp on your handelbar — a nice touch if you lose one — but they are all super long (I suppose to accommodate a very large diameter handelbar) and, with their very fine thread, they are tedious to snug down using the little Allen wrench supplied. BTW the clamp was exactly the correct size for my normal sized bicycle handelbar so that the threaded end of the screws stick out below about 1/2”.

Bike mirror
decent for the price I have to keep moving mine because it falls a lot and I can’t see behind me if I don’t, but otherwise works well. Just doesn’t stay tight to stay up but my husband’s seems to work well we put them on our E bikes.
