Bright as heck to incomming traffic, affordable quality aux lights
I mounted these on a 2008 Kawasaki concours, tire height.First of all I was impressed how bright these suckers are , in the first picture ,the small lights you see are the bike's head lights , the super bright lights are the Sam lights.my first impressions: these lights are well made , rugged well worth over 60 dollars a pair, my only complain is that they scatter too much light everywhere , if these lights were put on a housing with a projectors these could probably replace your regular head lights, as they stand they are unusable at night on city streets or dark highways you could kill someone with them, I would probably only use them in the day time to help drivers see you, when I took the bike for a test ride around the block an on coming car had to stop in the middle of the street because how blinded he was, so a switch to turn them off is a must, they may also be useful on dirt roads or empty roads where you are sure there is no one driving the opposite way.I do not know if they last as long as they say they do I just installed them yesterday, but already better than the ones I got from Facebook that is for sure.pros:well built, bright, cheap, easy to install.Cons:light scatter makes it impossible to use on streets, not DOT approved, mostly for off roads/back-roads.You may also need to buy a bike specific mount because it does not come with any sort of mounting bracket.edit: after a long 2000 mile trip I have the following updates:Lights held well on the rain, no water got inside, they seem to draw very little current, yet they are very bright, the best use I had for them was during the day as day light running lights, cars were moving out of the way well in advance before i got to them on the left lane, people will see you clearly no problem better than driving with the high beams on.at night if you combine them with the high beams these suckers will turn everything in a short distance into day light, and high beams will illuminate the distance, if you are on a dark road by yourself these lights will do well, specially good to find pot holes on dark back roads and other obstacles, a cleaver way to install them would be to wire a relay to the high beams so when you turn the high beams these turn on too and then they turn off when you don't.Still recommend if you want no compromise on day time visibility and night time illumination

Holy cow.....
Holy cow! these lights just blew me away. It was so easy to install with the bracket and relay/fuse I bought separately. Installed it on my FJ09 on its crash bar. I needed to aim it a little downward so I don't blind oncoming traffic. Now I could see both sides of the road. The low beam headlight on my bike isn't adequate to light up the road, I work nights and take interstate and country roads combined and these lights just put a smile on my face. I have read some reviews to put silicone to weatherproof it and I did but unfortunately it contaminated one of my lenses now it's hazy, so I contacted chelhead if they can sell me just the lense. They get back at me (her name Leona) said that they don't sell lenses separately but instead send me a new pair which I received them today. What an awesome company and customer service is topnotch. I would recommend these lights to anyone who wanted to have a safe ride during nights/dark hours just aim it a little downward because they are really bright. The feel on the housing is very sturdy. Used some waterproof connectors and put lots of silicone around and back of the switch on my handle bar and works really good. You will not regret buying and installing these on your bike a little bulky but looks awesome on my bike. I'vs seen similar lights on chp motorcycles that size and they are bad ass. I can't speak for longevity because I've only used them in a week. I don't know if they are really waterproof as well (I don't ride in the rain). So far so good with these lights. I will update this review as soon as I get some negative about it. I will surely buy it again.

Great driving lights!
I mounted these on my Kawasaki Versys 650. I wanted bright lights as I'm 63 and don't see as well as I used to. Also wanted bright daytime lights so on coming traffic would see me better. They are very bright so they will serve both purposes. Pretty solid light and look good on my bike. The don't come with a wiring harness. I made my own and put an inline mini 10amp fuse on the power side and wired into a handlebar switch I bought from Amazon. I don't know how long they will last so that's to be determined over time. I'm happy with my purchase!

Great lights, not 25w though.
I needed a bit more light for my night setup on my dirtbike for a 24hr race, so I decided to give these a shot. First off, I metered them on a 12v system and they only pull 1.4 amps or 16w, which is more than enough because they are plenty bright. After over 100 miles of racing on a rocky, bumpy offroad course, the light never came loose on the bracket and never flickered or gave me any issues, so I would say they are good and durable. So far, after 1 wash there isnt any condensation, we will see how well they stay sealed with time. I would give these lights a positive recommendation. They are bright, 6000k in color and a nice round spot beam that gets pretty good distance.

Two years on and still working great! BRIGHT!
I bought the 25W 6000K Spot Beam to complement the lights on an older car, and these are bright enough to drive by! My only complaint would be that I had to angle the lights to where the main part of the beam is a little lower than I had hoped, to avoid blinding other drivers, as the light gets splashed over a broad angle. But still, they are some of the best that I have seen, especially at this price point.
