Amazing…but
This lock is amazing but imo you have to pay someone to install it or it atleast have a knowledgeable handyman do it. Otherwise you will pull your hair out.A year into having this lock the indoor handle started to fall out. It went back in easy but never stayed in.

Great lock...not so great customer service from MarksUSA
Lock works great. Batteries are held in by a piece of plastic though that is prone to cracking (at least in the AZ heat) and making the unit inoperable. Marks USA does not sell parts to consumers so you must find a dealer that carries the part. The cheapest I could find was $15.20 with a $17 FedEx shipping charge (no USPS option). Seems expensive for a piece of plastic. Absolutely no assistance from Marks USA or concern whatsoever. I wouldn't give them business again for this reason. There are too many other options available.

10 years and Dog proof
The media could not be loaded. Batteries last a long time.10 years on the front door and still working as new.We adopted a dog and had some scaping issues (video attached) he tried to open the door many times, the handle got teeth marks (photo attached) but didn't affect functionality, still working normal. The unlocking mechanism noise is about half a second long, I installed another lock (lower cost) and the noise lasts about 2 seconds. Probably that's why the batteries last long on the I-Qwik lock. It is just a different design, efficient and reliable. We are moving to another house and taking this lock with me, lol.
