Works great with my VIOFO dash cam. Easy set up. Nice and small and I have ability to reassign what buttons do.

Works for my a229 pro after updating the firmware to the camera, and forcing a factory reset of the settings. If you don't do this you won't have access to the big lock video button.3m adhesive works very well and I have it installed out of the way but easily accessible.

Works well with the A229 DUO dash cam. I did have to update the firmware in the dash cam to get it to work. Pairing it to the dash cam was simple, just hold down the main button for a few seconds and it paired itself. The two buttoms can be configured to do different functions. I have one button set to take a photo and the other to turn the WiFi on and off.The dash cam is tuckup behind the rear view mirror so pushing the buttons on it is a challenge while stopped and damgerous if you are driving.The remote is small, would be nice it was a bit larger to make handling easier. I also having floating around my center console, I did not use the adheasive tape to fit to the my dash. Since the cam is constantly recording I don't feel the need to have instant access to it. It's nice to be able to easily lock down a video or turn the wifi on and off so i can download videos easily.

I hesitated buying this because honestly it’s freaking expensive. However, I received an extra battery with this one but how it was wrapped with a small ziplock bag I wondered if it was a returned product I received. But anyway since I got two batteries I guess $20 was so worth it.The remote is a size of a 25 cent(US) so be careful not to lose it or drop it while driving. I’m not a big fan of using the adhesive as it may leave a mark so I hold it while driving. I’m not even sure how you can change the battery when it’s sticking on the car. So the design is flawed, would be better if it has a band or strap so you can wear it on the hand.Tip:It’s hard to pair with my camera at first but when I noticed the cable of the camera is not connected properly and plugged it securely the remote paired.Make sure everything is ready and working before you drive. I have multiple experiences trying to capture an idiot on the road and the camera wasn’t even turned on.

When it works, it works great. Frequently though it doesn’t respond and requires me to take battery out and back in. Have tried replacing battery, but just seems to be finicky. Really cool idea in concept and glad I purchased, but wish it was more reliable.
