REARMASTER® Steering Wheel Mounted Control, universal for Universal Car Stereo DVD Player GPS Navigation System with key learning function

I bought this with mixed expectations to add steering wheel controls to my 2002 CR-V and have to say I am pleasantly surprised at the outcome having expected like most product f this type that it would have a bit of an aftermarket feel to it but it installs very neatly on the steering column and took very little time to install.If you are looking to add steering wheel controls to your car that looks remotely stock this is definitely the best product I have found out there. Installation instructions were also pretty good, just note that the install on something like this is always going to be more effort than an infrared or bluetooth option but the result is considerably better and if you have the right tools and some basic DIY skills it is not all that hard to do.

I bought this to use with a Joying android head unit and it does the job very well. It had to be spliced into the wiring loom as there was no plug on either the head unit or the remote, but once that was done it was extremely easy to set up and the tape supplied seems to be strong enough that I haven't had to drill any holes to mount it. It feels a bit light and flimsy but that doesn't seem to affect it in use.

The self adhesive tape wasn't great and not very sticky but once screwed in , does exactly what it says with easy instructions to follow .Would recommend

When I bought a touch screen stereo for the car, I knew it wouldn't be the best idea to be trying to find the volume buttons etc whilst driving, so I needed one of these. I didn't want one to be on the steering wheel so this was ideal for me. And it works great. It was very easy to program to my stereo unit and I'm totally used to all the functions. The sticky pad is good but I did accidentally knock it off once when I missed the indicator stalk, it's glued on now.

After fitting my after market Android unit for my 2013 insignia I failed to l get supplied the steering controls working, as many others had this issue too. I installed this unit, was working within 10 minutes. Using GND wire along with the KE1 wire on my unit. I configured the buttons using the SWC app on the system. All works fine and is a pleasure to drive with the media stalk in situ.
