You GOTTA get this cat.
I may be 80, but I don't have dementia or anything else wrong with me. But I've named him Domino and the comfort he brings is wonderful. I've always had a cat until the last one died in 2019 - when he was 19. After cancer treatment I have mobility limitations and need help with things like hanging up clothes, cleaning - it took away my balance. So I live in an assisted living facility but we can't have pets here. I have missed my Snowball terribly. His picture on my wall reminds me, but I still miss him - until I got Domino. He's so real it's incredible - even bends back to get his belly scratched. He feels, acts and sounds completely real. The comfort he gives me is wonderful, even when he's just purring and I stroke him. (His meow is unbelievably real) You can turn off the sound but I rarely do.). Many of my friends here actually thought he was real until I told them he isn't (one still does!). His batteries last depending on how much you have him turned on. I change them every two weeks because I'm rarely without him in my apartment and he's in my lap purring while I watch movies, listen to music or whatever.

Purr happiness
I got the Orange & White cat for my elderly Mom. Mom’s cat had recently died and she wanted another cat but just getting to stage in her life it is too much to care for a real cat. This kitty is a delight to my Mom and entertains her. It really makes her happy and gets her giggling hearing the cat suddenly meow at her. Later found out my cousin also had gotten one for his Mom who had dementia. This is a must for Seniors who miss having a pet.

Dad loves it!
Works great. Dad knows it’s fake but still likes to pet it and see how it reacts. Visitors like to play with it too. Totally worth the money.

Comforting pet for a person with dementia. Highly recommended.
We bought this cat for a family member with dementia. She loves the cat and picks it up and talks to it! It meows, purrs and moves. The movements are somewhat mechanical and not smooth, but it doesn't detract much. The meows and purrs can be turned off if wanted, so that is helpful if you get tired of it. It has been a worthwhile purchase!

Highly recommend!
I work in a hospital where we have these available to patients and they just love them. I ordered this one for a dear family friend who recently had to move into a nursing home and had to surrender her 2 cats. Needless to say she is over the moon with it saying how much it sounds and moves like a real cat. These kitties are so comforting and therapeutic! Can't say enough good things!

Very Realistic
Bought for my Mom who has dementia. She loves it! She even named it Samantha! Looks like a real cat! The batteries last a long time.

A wonderful gift for someone with dementia.
I bought this for my 90 year old Mom who has aphasia and severe dementia. The cat meows, licks its paw and purrs and and my Mom loves it. I've even seen her kiss the top of the cat's head...very sweet. It's hard to know what to buy someone who can't speak and who really doesn't even know who you are, so I'm super happy with the cat. I also bought my Mom the dog but she seems to like the cat more (I think it's the purring).

Overall good impression but shedding a lot
The kitty is overall very cute. I was waiting for it and checking my notifications like every 10 minutes in arrival day as I was waiting for Christmas present from Santa))) So, after first day of trial I can say that it has very cute mimicking of cat’s moves, especially when it’s licking her paw. So adorable! It moves her head, eyes are opening and close, ears are moving. I like how it purrs. Meow sounds needs improvement, some sounds very fake and annoying, it’s good that you can mute meows and just leave purrs. However you can’t turn off movements. It will be repeating moves with paws and leaning back but not saying anything. I would suggest to add another feature of being able to turn on/off movements too and just keep purring itself. It would be good for a night time when you want just peaceful sound, not mechanical noise, Many people said about mechanical sounds being too loud. Yes, it is loud, but it’s overall not a big deal to me ( for day time) I used to it after 1 hour of interaction and didn’t pay attention. The big cons for me is that it’s shedding A LOT. See pictures. Its hair feels very fake and not so soft as expected and it’s everywhere. I can’t put in on my lap or bed without a towel because I would be covered in hair and I don’t like it.
