The packaging is really neat and novelty. The roots themselves were brownish red. I did not know what I was doing when I got these so I just put them in boiling water, steam your roots for 20-40 min so they can become tender to slice lol. It’s really good having the actual root since a lot of ginseng products have unhealthy & strange ingredients added to them. Definitely not the reddest ginseng I’ve seen and the root hairs were trimmed. Some people care about that factor, it didn’t affect me so much personally.
