They are only 5mm diameter x 2.5mm thick, smaller than I expected but they do the job and I should have checked the dimensions in the description.

These magnets are very strong, but also tiny like a teeny battery cell. They are difficult to remove from the magnetic board. I tend to put two together to get a better height/depth to hold on to

I should clarify - I just went by the picture, the size stated in the description was correct.I wanted them for finding studs in walls, and when I realised their actual size, I didn't think they would work. But oh how wrong... their power to weight ratio made them perfect. They would literally jump a centimetre or more to the centre of the stud, making them perfect for the job.
