It's not a high quality item, but each piece is detailed and good, heavy, and strong enough to enjoy the game of Chess with style.

8/10 love the pieces but I'm underwhelmed by the board.Pieces don't wobble, have a decent weight, solid base, and are way more fun to use than regular pieces. It's also easier to differentiate between them than basic pieces which is ideal for new players. The mat is great if you're trying to learn the names of board spaces and is big enough their larger than average size doesn't cause any issues. It's not so great if you ever want to move it from one single spot since there's no bag for the pieces either.

This set is awesome for my grandchildren to learn how to play the game. The pieces feel nice in your hand, not too heavy. The board is a high quality material and the colors are rich. I have enjoyed playing.

The "chessboard" is a CHEAP piece of pleather that arrived so creased the flimsy chess pieces won't stand up on it. As for the "chess pieces," they look like the CHEAP green plastic army men that used to be so popular. I am too embarrassed to even give it to my 6-year-old grandson who is learning to play. HORRID!

Very nice looking and good quality. I gave this set to my grandson and he loved it.

Very light plastic pieces. Not at all what we expected. They fit the board well but look cheap and feel cheap.

Beautiful to look at perfect size and weight

I had to superglue a white knights head back onto place and it also had a missing hoof on the horse that couldn't be found.
