Embossing isn't inked
Lack of ink in the embossing makes it difficult to see.

Excellent mid-priced gauge
Mitutoyo is a great name for mid-priced tools that work. I have several of their digital measuring devices and they work great. This gauge is every bit as well made as ones that are twice as much money. Very accurate and made very well. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it comes in a nice little plastic zip-locking pouch.

easy to read
Top quality, easy to read, good product

Not Accurate
The ends are not square with the sides and the sides are not parallel with each other. Using a tool this out of spec will leave your threads cut incorrectly. Found others for a fraction of the price and far more accurate.

It's nothing fancy or high quality, but you definitely get your moneys worth.If you're doing small time projects, this is exactly what you need, if you're looking more long term manufacturing, spend the money to buy a higher quality one.
