Installed in an old Briggs, everything went smooth. Mowed my half acre property 2 times, during the second mow the governor stopped working and motor over revved. Removed engine and disassembled and found the actuator fell apart and ground down the teeth on the governor.

Ordered this when we couldn't get the Briggs and stratton part due to "shortages" installed the same and the mower runs fine now. It did have a rougher casting look that the original but the price and actual availability made up for it so far
