Brilliant fitness device and app
This has been brilliant, especially during lockdowns. It's very easy to use with plenty of exercises and an extremely good accompanying app. It's often difficult to make time for exercise, but at just 5 minutes a session (you can do more if you wish), you have less of an excuse and it's easier to motivate yourself. I feel so much better after the 5 minutes and at least then feel I've accomplished something. I now do 2 sessions a day when I break from work in the morning and afternoon.

Evil!!
The exercises are quite frankly, evil! Hard work outs, surely must do some good! The app is a bit flaky but have got it working on a phone.

Adjust expectations
Software seems half-baked, with obviously desirable features apparently missing. It seemed to forget what I had done, which rather undermined the encouragement of metrics. Does not work well on a tablet, although you might want a bigger screen to see what's what: designers said it was only for phone. Many of the exercises are difficult to do while looking at the screen (even with the handy stand). No apparent way of filtering the daily exercises suggested. Instructions often seem to assume you have done exercises before, and know technical terms for muscles/ positions ('further information' screens need an option 'still more information' in my view!). Responses to feedback/request for help is patchy and slow (sadly; I was prepared to put up with the half-baked problems if they were interested in helping or improvement, but apparently not). The gadget itself is neat and functional (bluetooth works well), but you are tied to the app to get anything out of it, which means dealing with the above, and more staring-at-screens.I could feel the benefits in just a few days of repeated use, so that's good, but the cumulative niggles with the software meant that it wasn't rewarding enough. In particular, greater ability to filter daily exercises would have helped - many of the suggested ones were impractical for me, as (for example) I don't have a clear wall to stand against, or unwanted, as, being a desk-worker who walks, I don't want to exercise my legs as much as my arms/upper-body.Generally I really hope they improve the experience because this has potential, and it might well be useful for you if you try - as I said, I could feel the benefits; but I can't really recommend it as-is without warning you of the issues.

Fantastic, addictive, effective.
My favourite gadget at this time, this is one of those "I really wish I'd thought of it" type things. The small, minimalist puck and its companion app make for insanely addictive and, dare I say, effective, workouts you can do anywhere. Every workout is pretty much to failure (assuming you calibrate your maximum strength) which means whatever muscle group you're exercising will be used to its fullest during the brief workout duration.I've been at it three weeks (two to three times a day) and can already see obvious changes in tone, with every workout leaving me with that "pumped" feeling I used to get through weights or intensive bodyweight exercises. My strength is measurably higher too, as the app helpfully reminds me daily. One bonus: you won't hurt (much) the next day, as isometric exercises don't do the same damage to your muscle tissue as regular reps-based routines do. If you hate the repetitiveness of weight-based exercises and are looking for something a bit different and at an optimal point between time commitment and concentration of effort, I can't recommend the Activ5 enough.

Great idea, terrible app, wait for something better to come along
I can't figure out how comes I'm writing the first negative review of this app. The concept of being able to exercise anywhere every day is wonderful, but I've never seen an app that was so poorly written. Today I just gave up on my morning session because the app crashed after every exercise, and the device had to be reconnected every time. At some point the app also decided that I should login again for whatever reason. If it worked flawlessly, I likely still would give the app only a 3 star rating. It's simply not user friendly, there is no long term lam for your workouts, and progress is not saved --- yes, your stats are saved, but it's up to you to remember where you were in your training and select the next step every time. All those features were already available on Xbox fitness games in 2011 and are easily implemented. I hope I can still return the device, this disastrous app made me lose all interest in it.

Finding it a very useful device to have
Had it for few weeks now and taken time to get used to it. Finding it a very useful device to have, easy to use and the fact you have no need to step outside your door is perfect for those who do not have gym membership like me. Use at your own pace in your own time and with your own personal goals. Will be perfect when away on business or holiday, no excuses not to stay fit! A good variety of exercises and programmes. Only small issue I have had is that has sometimes been slow to connect to my android phone but once connected, no issues.

Need for free exercise maker/app.
Easy to use, but there is a need for an app to make your own routines.Anyway, it is a value for money gadget to measure strength (isometric).I use this, in my physiotherapy praxis, for rehabilitation.

A good bit of kit for sure.
So far so good. I am pretty impressed with this little device. Definitely harder than you think.A couple of improvement would be ideal:1) I use the app on my iPad. It would be great to have the screen rotate to the way I have it.2) the workout plans are good. But it would be nice to have a plan that is tailored to my age, bmi, goals. Like a 10 week workout plan that is set up to have the exercises you need to do every day.
