We did not find any live bugs in the bags. But if you see any don't open the bag!!

Yes, They are wrapped individually, Made of safe and non-toxic soft TPR material, It doesn't tear easily

It is random amounts of the squishies in the picture. I never feel like I get too many of one kind. It seems evenly distributed.

Q: Would they fit in a 1 inch vending machine capsule?

They are pretty squishy but don't think it would fit into something that small. It's be tight.
