Q: Has anyone had any experience with this wand on short hair?

This wand is amazing no matter what your hair length

Q: Have GHD changed the sound? They make a totally different noise to my other ghd curve, which sounds like a train whistle. Are these fakes?

I recently bought this product and believe it to 100% genuine !

Q: The sound emitted by these is different to my other ghds and the same model I tried in a store. Could this be a (potentially dangerous) fake product?

Wouldn't surprise me to learn that. Mine overheats to a dangerous degree. I tried it out once but as I wanted some hair left on my head I bought some velcro rollers instead. Wasted a lot of money on this 'investment'.
