I purchased this item so I could look for specific issues with my vehicle, concerning its ability to pass an emission test in Maryland. Turns out, the issue was not related to the emission test, and I was able to pass with no problem. This was significant in that under Maryland law, if all owners of a vehicle are over 70, an emission test is not required. By the next time my vehicle comes up for inspection, both my wife and I will be over 70, so this got me through the last emission test this vehicle will ever need so long as I own it.

Great tool to have in your tool box. I purchased this scanner because my engine light in my 2017 Chevy Colorado came on. I literally got the scanner the next morning. Plugged it in to the port and it told me my O2 sensor on bank 1 was the problem. It worked fast and it was super easy to use. Not to mention the price that was great to. Thanks you guys for making it more affordable for the DIY guy that I am. I recommend this to everyone.

This works great! It feels sturdy and well made. It is easy to set up and use. It clears a code on my car due to an O2 sensor. The display is easy to read. I had no trouble with the connection. It was consistent the whole time I used it. I am happy with my purchase.

Pretty good for the cheap pricing! I did expect better especially having multiple different scanners of the year and just had a really nice advanced scanner my stepmom bought me for around the same price on here so also comparing on that. This scanner is great, wish it had StateOfCharge & better battery test or able to perform alternator/starter/battery test like other cheap scanners are able to do. It does say the battery voltage but that’s it so not really advanced. I give it 6.9 out of 10.

So far I love it! Didn’t realize that it only comes on when hooked up to your car! My Sister was wise and said we will screenshot the codes otherwise when it’s unplugged to the car I wouldn’t be able to see them! I do wish it was touchscreen for easier use! Happy to see these scanners go down in price so I don’t have to borrow one from my father anymore!

After seeing so many people these days stranded and not knowing what was wrong I decided to purchase this small machine which is only small in size because it carries a lot of functions inside it that can be very helpful in a time of need. I received it quickly and well packaged and tried it the first day and it works like a charm so I can recommend this scanner tool to basically any motorist.

Easy to use and worked great to diagnose the check engine light on my 2017 Lincoln MKZ twin turbo. Simply turn the ignition to "on", plug it in under the dash near the driver's door, press the read code button and boom, just like that this device informs you what's wrong. In my case it's the catalytic system threshold bank #2 which is code P0430.
