This product is AMAZING!
I see some scattered negative reviews here and can only assume they are from the "pink goo" product in competition with Sea Bond!First, that pink stuff, that ooozzzze's out the back of that upper denture, triggering my gag reflex almost every time, will no longer be a part of my morning routine!Second, IF you are looking for a produce that requires NO EFFORT on your part, to make sure you get the most benefit from it, then go ahead and keep using that pink stuff.Yes, it takes a little effort, but man, once you get it figured out, NOTHING can COMPARE with this one! I am still using the "immediate" denture that was placed after full upper extractions about 6 months ago. As you can imagine, it is NOT a perfect fit at this point, heck, it wasn't a perfect fit the day it got put in!The dentist provided me with a "cushion liner" about 4 months ago, at a cost of about $600! It lasted about 2 months, and started "peeling" loose, I took the time to tediously remove that liner, and tried that pink stuff... unhappily I must say!So I'm looking at ANY other options, all seemed to be squeeze tubes... I knelt down so I could see the very bottom shelf, and there it was... SEA BOND... the first thing I noticed was the line that said "no ooze like pastes" That first box of uppers went home with me, and as long as I need help with an upper denture, this is the ONLY product I will use!NOW, it does take some effort, a few times of figuring out how to "trim" the wafer for a GOOD fit, but once you get it figured out, you can easily, quickly trim it from "memory" after that. I actually trim all 30 of the as soon as I open the box and am set for the full 30 days. I put it in at the start of my day, usually about 3am... and it doesn't come out til bedtime. I eat, I drink, I chew, I talk, I sing, heck, I can even yawn, and this thing won't move... it takes a "tug" at the end of the day to break it loose. The genius that invented this product somehow, created an adhesive that when moistened, turns into a "gel" that not only locks it in place, but also cushion's the feel of the denture.I am not a fan of the mint flavor, just a personal preference, it's not bad, I just like the tasteless original better. If you need a product of this category, and don't mind a little effort at the beginning of use, GET SEA BOND!! I have never given ANY PRODUCT this level of OUTSTANDING REVIEW!!THANK YOU SEA BOND!!

How To Get Sea Bond To Work Even Better
I never post reviews but, in this case, I think I am performing a public service.I've been using Sea Bond for more than seven years but Sea Bond wafers did not work well for me until I hit upon this seemingly backward way of installing them.Done my way, you will actually have to pry your dentures out and you may find it difficult to remove the wafers because they are so tightly bonded to the plastic material. (Pro tip: use a sheet of paper towel to get a grip on the slippery used wafer.)The problem with Sea Bond wafers is that the instructions on the packaging are actually absolutely wrong if you want a nice tight, long-lasting grip for your dentures. Here's how I use them:1. I cut the wafer to size making sure that the sides of the wafer come ALL THE WAY UP TO THE TOPS OF THE OUTER RIMS OF YOUR DENTURES BUT NO HIGHER when I press the wafer into the gum channel. (This may take some practice to get it right.)2. Spray the PINK SIDE OF THE WAFER with a light mist of water and then put the wafer (pink side down) into the denture, making sure to press it down into the gum channel. This activates the adhesive more effectively than the method recommended by the manufacturer. Make sure there are no folds or bends in the material.3. Next, spray the top of the wafer lightly, then insert the denture, seat it and bite down for at least 30 seconds. (One minute is better.)Now, if you have been wearing dentures for a while, you know all about gum recession. If you are not in a position to purchase a new denture, try using TWO wafers, one on top of the other. I've been doing this for more than two years now and the results have been very satisfactory. If you decide that you need to use two wafers, make sure that you line them up and cut them to size at the same time...and make sure that you give the upper wafer a good drenching before you insert the denture into your mouth.Note that this advice is based upon using the Sea Bond wafers for UPPER PLATES only. I don't have a lower plate but I don't see why method would not work for the lower plates as well.I hope this helps. If it does, drop me a line. If it doesn't, drop me a line anyway, I will try to help you figure out why it's not working. (In one case where this did not work, the user had very hard water.)

Cumbersome and Frustrating
Been trying to find an alternative to the zinc-laced adhesives. Attempted to try SeaBond. It's frustrating to try to use and it just bunches up under your denture. They say to trim if they don't fit but there's still no way to get it to fit well. Who really has the time or patience to fight with their teeth at 7:00 am? I feel like these were a HUGE waste of money.

They work as advertised
Works very well. Maybe for me a little too well. They keep my teeth in. So we'll they don't like to come out (haha)I do need to trim them up a tad to use em. But they keep em in all day and actually help a tad with comfort.
