Perfect worms - white Grindal worm sized
UPDATE: do not let your worms get warm :(I had thousands from this first batch of starters. At my old house I kept em in the potting shed in a huge bowl with lid. Even when it got hot out in summer the potting shed in the north side of the house stayed cool. Well, in this new house I had em in the garage and we had a heat wave an’ guess what? It prolly got over 80 in there yesterday and I lost all of em :(. I dug thru to make sure and possibly rescue some but NOPE all melted. Anyhoo I have ordered two batches once again and will be keeping these ones in the wellhouse! My fish absolutely go bonkers over these and love hunting for them. So I gotta start a new massive batch once again.Received a 6” x 6” sandwich bag. It had even adult worms and directions. I made a container with some extra moist potting soil and added some cat food and these worms went after it in front of my eyes. I could have used some to feed fish but I’d like to build up the stock. I really thought these were going to be too big and fat for my fish but they’re not they equate to the size of Grindal Worms!!! My fish are going to love these I have some very young electric blue acaras that will go nuts for these!Update ! Man these worms ALL my fish love ! My fish go crazy for these. I have taken 1 small order and now have that in a much bigger “growth area”. Old cat food and old spinach leaves and moist soil and BOOM - I’m feeding my fish for free! Worms galore... I cannot believe how productive this food source is for my fish and they literally beg and beg for more ! Clean worms great nutrition and the fish love! I swear my rummynose tetras act like piranhas when I put these in the tank

Very small starter culture.
I was surprised to find only about 20 visible worms. With a starting culture this small it should take me a month or two before I can feed my fish. I will place an order with another outfit and hope they are more generous!

This is a starter culture!
I read a lot of reviews and searched for this STARTER CULTURE, I seem to see a lot of good and bad reviews on this seller. I'm here to say I got my starter culture a day earlier than expected. All worms look to be super healthy and alive. Comes with a care sheet and business card. Although I would recommend the seller to put care instructions and card in a separate bag as they got damp in delivery.Anyone thinking they're going to purchase these and just feed them to your fish will be disappointed, this is strictly a starter culture and will thrive very well of you follow care instructions!10/10 will purchase again if my culture crashes.

This "dude" is stingy. DO NOT BUY!
If you look at his display picture, I'd guess it has 5000+ white worms. When the shipment arrives, you'd be lucky if there are more than 25 worms in the small bag of peat soil. Obviously, a 'bait and switch'. Stingy is a weak description of his "starter" culture.Additionally, his enclosed letter tells you that it will take a month to get a sufficient number of worms to feed your fish. I recommend you go to another source to buy white worms.

Patience is key
First off, I did get a bag with only a few live worms in it but I contacted the seller and they promptly sent me an additional bag and I was able to start my culture from that.I have the worms in a small tub, and I feed them sinking fish food. The culture has thrived and grown, but it's taken quite some time for it to be established. I would not plan on using this as a food source for at least 3 months to let it get firmly established. After about 6 months I was able to split my culture in two and feed from each one once a week. Once they're more full, I may be able to feed from each twice a week but for now I'm focusing on establishing a strong culture. I wish I knew what specifically "white worm" is because they say it's not grindal worms but they look very similar to me. More specific information would be great but overall pleased. All of my wild bettas love them.

Dead white specks in a bag with no insulation DO NOT BUY
Package arrived in a tiny thin wall plastic envelope with smiley faces all over it, in my mailbox. Not insulated, just a thin plastic bag mailer. Inside that was a low grade ziploc full of peat moss, roots, and a few tiny white specks which look like cricket eggs. There were no white worms, it was a scam. Do not buy!

Arrived alive and well
Bought for my new Copperband butterfly, I was worried about shipping in cold weather but worms arrived alive. Small bag of soil and plenty of active worms. They even came with a thoughtful care sheet with tips for harvesting.

Not at all like the picture
Comes with staggered few worms in an inch of dirt. Plan on waiting a month for your culture to have enough to be able to harvest.
