Methven make the best shower heads ever. Full stop.
My parents have the slightly more expensive halo showerhead in their ensuite, and I absolutely loved it. Resulting in one of the best showers I've had. When I moved out, I was severely displeased with the shower head included with my electric shower (Mira Azora.) It dribbled out with no power whatsoever. But then that is the nature of a 9.7Kw electric shower. Just weak. And anti climatic to say for the least. The desire to have a nice powerful, warm shower got the better of me. Within a couple of days of moving in, I was instantly on the search for a Methven showerhead, and I wanted it quick. Guess what? I turned to Amazon, and they delivered exactly that. This shower head is phenomenal. It looks like something designed by Dyson (futuristic, contemporary, and good looking) quite like how the dyson fans work, the showerhead functions in a similar way. It just feels powerful. It hard to explain. You could call it alien. Even on my lousy electric shower. Now when showering, I don't want to get out. I'd love to stand under it for hours on end. But then that would put my electricity bill up substantially. There's only so much that my words will do this showerhead justice. But what I can say is that I totally do recommend it. If you're someone who likes a super soak, powerful shower, I strongly encourage you make this purchase. You will not be let down. I promise! Plus the added benefit of its simple design means it's not a chore to clean either.

Its better than my last shower head
It's great. I'm happy with it. For my electric shower which constantly gets clogged with hard water limescale this is my 7th shower head in 2 years. My old shower head if you tilted it upside down you would get maybe 4cm of water spraying upwards that's how bad my pressure was. With this new one tilt it upside down it will spray upwards around a metre upwards but that's coming from my awful low-pressure electric shower. It can only work with the pressure you have obviously so others might get better pressure but I do enjoy my showers now at least. Looks easy to clean should the time come. If I turn it to cold the pressure increases immensely. So yes it's good pressure but kind of makes sense as there are only 13 jets as appose to the hundreds a standard head comes with. (Less jets + same output = more pressure). It has a rainfall-feel and is different to your standard shower head but I like it. Looks futuristic and I hope I don't have to change it for a few years.

Not as good as it's circular counterpart
This is the square version of this type of shower head. I bought it because it looks similar to the standard circular one (which I have in another property) but was significantly cheaper.Unfortunately the spray and direction of the jets doesn't seem as good.Otherwise a very nice looking shower head for modern style bathrooms.

Very cool experience if you have good water pressure
I bought this to replace the cheap, old shower head in the rental I moved into. My water pressure it not ideal, so the water doesn't come out as fast as it should unless I use it on the colder settings. But the pressure it still quite good despite this and I like how it surrounds your body. You get a mist which really is nicer than a traditional shower head spray. In terms of value, I'm not sure I would say it is worth £40. It doesn't feel particularly high quality and although it is a good experience, it is 2-3x more expensive than other shower heads on Amazon. I will be keeping it but I probably wouldn't buy it again for £40. Closer to £20 and I would.

Excellent
This is similar to my older, similar shower head from the same manufacturer, the first one being round. Both work equally well and give a good force of water.

Shower Time
Excellent shower head. Switched from a previous Methven model that was ok but flow too restricted. This one comes with 2 restriction options and even using highest restriction still decent (less flow equals money saved) have switched to the 9l choice and it's perfect. Very good pressure but with equally good rainfall soak experience (best of both worlds). Looks really nice to imo.

Not very powerful
I bought this thinking it would increase the flow rate, but it's actually not as powerful as my old grohe one. It also feels very cheap.

It's does improve water flow pressure.
I bought this to improve water flow pressure for my combi boiler pressurised shower, having tried many other products with disappointed outcomes, this does work surprisingly and has improved the shower experience. The downside however is, its plastic and feels basic quality. Overall a good product, with one day of use. Highly recommended.
