I was hesitant to install this myself as I’ve never even opened a laptop. The installation was super easy. There were a few steps I had to take for the laptop to read the new drive, but that was easy as well. So far, everything is working.I moved my games from my smaller drive to this new drive and everything loaded up quickly.I played for about an hour and no issues this far.I use Steam on an Alienware M17 R5 AMD Laptop.

This was to put on an enclosure for my brother's laptop and is hella fast, very recommended. I will definitely consider buying one for myself in the future. Transfering files, loading games, or any task you do with this SSD will be really fast

Got the 4TB version for my son's new laptop for college (HP Omen). Installed easily, recognized by windows, and formatted. Great secondary drive. WD Black's are a good all around drive. Have one in my PS5.

Al principal cuando coloque este disco mi pc se ponía lenta y se frizaba. La verdad no sabía porque, pensé que puede ser por el disco, pero luego averigüe y la solución era actualizar La Bios.Después de ahí todo funciona de maravilla.

Bought as a gift for a friend that was in definite need of a 1Tb portable storage SSD. Handles EVERYTHING she needs and does with her iPhone, Mac book, school and work. All while surviving her 4 year old and busy life! This might NOT be the FASTEST NVME on the market nowadays, but it is hands down one of the MOST RELIABLE!!! The only reason it got 4 out of 5 stars is simply because after being setup as exFAT file format for cross compatibility, it went down to 931 Gb. Small price to pay for the FAST read and writes it offers though!
