Plug and Play
The setup cannot be any easier. It is a simple plug-and-play device. It can extend up to three displays, which means you have four displays or monitors. In other words, you can display four separate screens from your laptop. This works great when I have meetings and multiple concepts to share. The price is outstanding. I just caution that you check the requirements for your monitor.

Decent, but may not be worth the price
If you're paying the $99.99 list price for this item, be sure to do some comparison shopping. On the plus side, the device has 2 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports, a single displayport, and 2 HDMI ports. It also has memory card readers for both SD and microSD cards along with a physical LAN connection.I'm struggling a bit to get it to recognize both of my slightly "oddball" screen resolution (2560 x 1600) monitors at once. Supposedly it will support multiple 4K but have no way to test that.Long story short, it probably works fine for standard 4K or 1080p, but don't count on it to work with any of the resolutions in between.

Does not allow separate monitors on iMacs
Was really hoping to find a docking station that would allow us to set up 3 total screens with the school iMac for the kids but I think it's an Apple limitation and it's just not possible with a single device that I can find. So I'm not reducing the rating of this device because Apple doesn't allow it. I was able to do it with a combination of devices, but even though there may be multiple outputs in the dock, the iMac won't broadcast 2 separate signals to it. I'm sure the rest of the functions would work great on Windows but it didn't work for our intended purpose. And the other functions would work on a Mac but just not the triple display output.
