Does, what is supposed to do? Really good quality?
Really good value for money no complaints. The only thing is what lets it down it’s tiny it’s not as chunky as the other products which she said. But for the money is good product would recommend

Can't fault them
The people who built our house a few years ago cut lots of corners which I've been discovering ever since. One of the many stupid things they did was not to put thermostatic valves on our bathroom towel rails. In practice this means that if you try to adjust the valve a gnat's whisker the towel rails go from being cold to being so hot you could actually burn yourself on them. That's where these thermostatic valves come into play.So far they've been great - allowing fine adjustment that was pretty impossible previously. They were easy enough to install and haven't leaked - and such valves either leak from the outset or tend to be good for years - so I really can't fault them. We don't have fancy anthracite grey radiators - but these go with the chrome ones we have perfectly well. I suppose there must be people who care about colour co-ordinated radiator valves but I'm happily not one of them.

Leak free connection
The SVNR Thermostatic Radiator Valves in textured anthracite grey are a game-changer for upgrading both the functionality and style of my home’s heating system. These valves are well-built, with a modern and sleek design that complements the decor of any contemporary room. The anthracite grey finish adds a touch of elegance and blends seamlessly with my radiator, enhancing the overall aesthetic.Installation was straightforward and took only a few minutes. The 15mm angled lockshield valve fits perfectly, and the instructions provided were clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the precise engineering of the valves, which ensured a snug, leak-free connection. If you’re a DIY enthusiast or a professional, you’ll have no trouble setting these up.The thermostatic functionality works flawlessly, allowing for precise temperature control. This has made a noticeable difference in energy efficiency, as I no longer have to manually adjust the radiator to maintain a comfortable temperature. The TRV responds quickly to changes in room temperature, which means the room stays consistently warm without overheating. It’s a smart investment that has already started saving on my energy bills.I highly recommend the SVNR Thermostatic Radiator Valves for anyone looking to upgrade their heating system. They’re not only functional and efficient but also add a stylish touch to the space. Whether for a new installation or a replacement, these valves are a fantastic choice for performance and aesthetics alike.

Fits and functions
The main advantage of a TRV, is that you can set lower temperatures for rooms that aren't used a lot, while regulating the temperature in the main rooms. No point in having a TVR in the room where your main thermostat is.You may need additional fittings if you have microbore. This TRV fitted and so far is not leaking - my plumber was reluctant to fit a TVR of a brand unknown to him as he said they often leak. Just fitting one value is a drag as you have to drain down the system etc. Better to measure up the rooms for the relevant heat inputs and then fit all those needed. The price is OK but there are plenty to choose from on Amazon
