The most comfortable walking boot I have ever owned. Worn with a thicker pair of hiking socks there is absolutely no break in period at all. No blisters or soreness from these boots.Really lightweight and comfortable to walk around all day. The insulation is also very good, well padded warm upper and a supportive and cushioned sole. My feet are kept nice and warm but with no sweatiness at all, my feet are kept really dry all day.In terms of waterproofing, I havent submerged these boots, but I have worn them in deep snow and torrential rain and my feet did not get wet. If you are doing things like river crossings or walking in deep mud, I think moisture would leak through the lace areas , but that’s the case with most boots of this type.These boots are also really well made and feel quality. Overall, I’m really pleased with them and would highly recommend them for someone wanting a well made, lightweight and warm boot that has a high level of water resistance.
