usnea is great for any inflammation in the body. it also seems to have antibiotic and anti-viral effects. it works fast, and it works everytime. I have been using it in one form or another for over 15 years. I try not to run out...ever.

Worked exactly what I need it for

As I have many chronic illnesses I rely on supplements to improve my life. They make me feel better, and it's even easier for me when I get something in tincture form. This way, I can actually tell much easier if I notice a difference or not. I do realize that not every single supplement might give a noticeable effect in how you feel in the following 5 minutes. I have obtained quite a few tinctures from this brand now. I'm a fan =D I definitely believe this is doing something, but since I thought this herb was for weight loss I've been careful not to take it too close to bedtime as I'm not sure what the effect is on my metabolism. I already have trouble sleeping and I don't want something keeping me awake. With that being said, I need to put further research into whether or not I can take this close to bedtime or not. Because of this, I have maybe only taken this for around 7 days total. I might need more time to notice and evaluate what exactly this does for me. But I'm still confident in its efficacy. I've been a big believer in herbal medicine for decades. This is only my personal opinion. I am in no way, shape or form making any medical claims. This is an herb (a lichen, but looks like a mossy growth) that does not grow locally so I was pretty excited to receive it and test.So far I've only caught a cold that I allowed to go untreated (I normally would take oregano oil, mullein, echinacea, and (poor piglatin here) "ermectin-iv-ay" that turned into a nasty sinus infection (as is my wont due to foolish and casual use of antibiotics in my early 20's, my microbiome is still recovering). On the first day that I was CERTAIN I was ill (not from the cold, but from the resulting sinus infection), I started taking the usnea sublingually twice a day and the sinus infection did not cling to me for months the way sinus infections tend to do me!The worst of the sinus infection only lasted a day or two; that sort of sinus infection used to leave me with pneumonia, that was how my entire young adult life went. Catch a cold (or seasonal allergies), cold turns into sinus infection, sinus infection turns into pneumonia with the infection still there, pneumonia to doctor, doctor prescribes antibiotics, rinse and repeat 4x a year.Long and short, I plan on purchasing this again.

This tincture is used for a variety of ailments. It aids in our recovery fairly effectively. It tastes lot better than an alcohol-based tincture, but I don't think it's as strong. I heartily recommend it! Side-effect-free antibiotic!
