Strong and just like advertised
Targets came in packaged well, no damage. They work excellent on my home made tree. I have hit them with a lot from a .22LR (@ 20 yards) to a .308Win (@ 75 yards) with zero damage to the surface, just paint splatter which is easily painted back over with spray paint. .22 isn't strong enough to flip the targets but still gives off a nice ding to let you know you hit it. .38, 9mm etc.... work awesome and it not only helps with your aim, it makes shooting a lot more fun. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a good quality fun target set.

Excellent Fabrication
I'm a retired Machinist/Gunsmith, and I liked the accuracy of the plasma machining, especially important in the area of the shank that enters the tube. This is most important to get right, as any non square cut where the hard plate rests on the softer steel tube, becomes a "cutting edge", complete with rake and clearance angles in one rotational direction, with obvious results.

Great price and great targets!
These work great for 9mm and 45acp. Haven't tried .380 yet and .22 will flip them but not as snappy as larger calibers.I used schedule 40 1"ID pipe from home depot to seat the paddles.I'll probably order another set for a different configuration.

Hardness a little low but not terrible.
The plates are true to size and look to be plasma cut, so you get a heat effected zone around the edges that is softer. After testing the material hardness, the edges are only 350-370HB and the center was 430 to 450HB. AR500 plate should have a hardness 480 to 520HB, hence the 500, so the plates are softer throughout than they should be, but still much harder than mild steel which is around 130HB. The edges and arms will probably get pitted up over time, but the plates should be fine for all pistols and most lower powered rifles (223, 7.69x39, 300 blackout, ect) shooting lead core bullets. Havent shoot them yet, but will update if I run into any issues with the hardness.

Who doesnt love shooting steel?
Im very pleased with these targets. The price on these vs buying a dueling tree was a no brainer. I built a tree and these are working great. I have mostly shot them with .45 and 9.They perform just like AR500 steel should.

Easy-peasy dueling tree assembly
Handles centerfire pistol caliber rounds easily. Don't shoot with an AR-15 (Like my moron buddy did when I told him not to!) or it'll ding and dent the plates.Too heavy for rimfires to swing, they just ping the steel without moving them much at all.

Cheap
Bought 12 total for two dueling trees. Looked good and worked, the problem began when I shot them with my AR-15 at 75 yards away. I was shooting normal wolf .223 ammo out of my 10.3” SBR and they went almost all the way through with the bullets stuck in the back sides. I shoot all my other 3/8” AR500 targets from another source with the same round without any issues.

I'd buy again.
Best price I could find, 3\8ths thick, and the cut looks like it is laser or water jet.I haven't built my tree yet so i am unable to give a durability review.
