Great for rack mounts whether it is cabinet or wall mount!
I have been out of the computer/network industry since 1995 and with remoldeling my home I have put in data access boxes in every room. I needed power for all the cabinet equipment for a central point and this fit my 19" wall mount rack and works like a charm. I love the individual shutoffs for each plug!

great, simple, powerfull, love it
I recently purchased the Rack Mount Power Strips, and they have been a game-changer for my home office setup. The 8-outlet strip with individual switches is incredibly convenient, allowing me to control each outlet independently. This feature has been handy for managing my computer, printer, and other gadgets without unplugging anything.Surge protection is another standout feature. Knowing my equipment is protected from power surges and spikes, I feel much more at ease. The strip's build quality is impressive, with sturdy construction that feels durable and reliable.Mounting the power strip was straightforward and fits perfectly in my rack setup. The generous cord length gives me plenty of flexibility in positioning it where I need it most. The design is clean and professional, blending seamlessly with my other equipment.Overall, the Rack Mount Power Strip has exceeded my expectations. Its combination of individual switches, surge protection, and solid construction makes it an essential addition to any organized workspace. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and versatile power strip.

Very handy.
This was great this Christmas when I used it to plug in my Christmas tree. I only had to switch off that one plug to turn off the Christmas tree lights.I have all my media equipment plugged into this. I can just turn the one plug off. It is very handy. And this can sit on a table or you can hang it on a wall or an entertainment center with the screws it comes with.

Works but quality could be better
Over all it works but plugs aren't held in very strong. Just a little weight and the plugs fall out on their own.

Stupid Me …
… for buying this piece of junk. With this crummy power strip, I think I set a new record for the time between opening the package and opening the Amazon return. Why? According to the description, this strip “fits standard 19” racks.” That may be true, in the sense that it’s roughly 19” wide. But God help you if you’re expecting an actual 1U power strip. The mounting ears are wider, too top to bottom, than standard 1U spacing. So you can sort of secure it in place using two bolts and taking up more than 1U. If you’re planning on a nice clean 1U installation, fuhgeddabout it.Or you can do what I did … return it and order a Tripp Lite Ibar12, which is what I should have done in the first place. This will set my server-rack project back a week, but Tripp Lite stuff is reliable and overall it’ll be a lot better for my blood pressure.

Doesn't fit audio racks
The holes line up with a network rack, not an audio rack. Bought for DJ use but it does not work well for that.

Working perfect after months of use
I have had 12 amps on this for 2 months now. It works perfect. I rarely use the switches but it does work anytime I have. The real thing here is that this feels industrial in comparison to similar units. It just looks like it could take a few beatings. So far I have no had a single issue with power or ground loops. There isn't much of a way to test the surge portion, but if anything comes up I will report back here.
