Heavy stand for patio umbrella.
Stand for patio umbrella, just dig a hole, put in place and fill back up with dirt or better, cement. Once set, the pole goes in and should stay in place even in a storm. The umbrellas should ideally be closed, as the rating for this base will easily allow an umbrella to shred in a storm. Recommended for sturdiness.

A Monster. Great for a Cantilever Umbrella
The greatest take from this is to have a pretty good idea where you want your set up. I requested theSLIIMU 18lbs In-ground Umbrella Base with Umbrella Stand Tube, Universal Umbrella Ground Anchor, Patio Umbrella Base In Ground for Offset Cantilever Umbrella, Hanging Parasol Stand Holder, Black. The in-ground stand is extremely well built. The steel construction impressive and with strong performance in mind. The build allows stringent restriction of in-ground rotation with the implementation of the vertical flanges. The thickened steel horizontal base plate keeps the stand planted firmly in place to prevent uplifting.Of course the implementation of this device is as only as good as its installation. Overall a great piece. Good design and performs extremely well. A bit pricey, but well worth the value of knowing your umbrella is not going anywhere. So far fantastic agains moderate winds. Higher winds the umbrella is not deployed anyway, but on the the other hand. It’s always folded in when not in use. But I have add, it makes it an extremely easy use and always at the ready. A great addition to our patio umbrella setup.

Nice Stand
Stability in Windy ConditionsThe 18lbs In-ground Umbrella Base is designed to hold offset cantilever umbrellas securely in place, even in windy conditions. Users report that it performs well as advertised.Universal CompatibilityThis base is advertised to be universally compatible with offset cantilever umbrellas. However, it is important to double-check the dimensions of the mounting plate and the diameter of your umbrella pole to ensure compatibility before purchasing this product.Easy to InstallThe in-ground umbrella base requires burying the base in concrete, dirt or hard clay. While the base itself is reported to be easy to install, the digging and potentially mixing concrete can be a challenging part of the installation process.WeightAt 18lbs, this base is on the heavier side compared to some other in-ground umbrella bases. This extra weight contributes to its stability, but it also makes it more difficult to maneuver.PriceThe 18lbs In-ground Umbrella Base is available from several online retailers for around $130. There is also a similar umbrella base available at Today's Patio for $199.OverallThe 18lbs In-ground Umbrella Base is a good option for those looking for a stable base for their offset cantilever umbrella. It is important to consider the effort required for installation and the fit for your umbrella before purchasing.

The end all be all of umbrella bases
18lbs In-ground Umbrella Base with Umbrella Stand Tube, Universal Umbrella Ground Anchor, Patio Umbrella Base In Ground for Offset Cantilever Umbrella, Hanging Parasol Stand Holder, Black. This is the end all be all of umbrella stand/bases.It’s built to last and not for the faint of heart. I’m constantly moving my outdoor settings from one patio to the other. I have two on my home. Due to this I’m not using concrete. I used a post hole digger and set it up in the dirt next to the concrete patio. It’s not going anywhere and I live in hurricane country.I’m all of 105 pounds and if I can do it with determination anyone can. I can’t tell you how nice it is to be able to put out one of the two umbrellas I have and not have to worry that it’s going to fall over. Winds are prominent at my location. This thing is built like a Sherman tank lol. It’s fantastic.I’m no stranger to QUIKRETE and if I decide I’d like to do that later I’ll get out the old wheelbarrow and shovel and mix some up. Until then this stand is working fine in the dirt. If you want a stand that’s built to withstand this is the one to get.Highly recommend.

Not for your average consumer
Ok so this thing is a beast!! I didnt realize how big of a hole you would have to dig or what it would take to install this into the ground. Its huge. Im sure it works but this definitely isnt something the average Joe can install.

Heavy duty but a bit of a tough one to install
It needs to be placed with concrete for best results. I tried placing it in the dirt and it didn't work well. It did hold but more for smaller umbrellas and I'm waiting for the ground to set better and see how the results would be. It works better with concrete around it to really hold it well under the ground.Overall this is a heavy-duty base that can hold my big umbrella well.

Coming from a windy area... I LOVE this umbrella base!
We live in an area with a lot of wind, so I really appreciate the sturdiness of this stand. We didn't mind installation, it was easy to install and we have a peace of mind knowing it might survive.

Heavy Duty & Works - No Instructions
This is heavy duty and works perfectly to hold a 9’ umbrella easily. I have this packed deep into the dirt. There are no instructions included in the package.
