My little boy loves to play army and wears these often. We use them from parent in house to child outside and between friends too. He has used for over a month nearly every day with original batteries.

Nice idea, and the walkie talkie part works fairly well, but the latch on the flip up lid is poorly designed and breaks easily. I received one that was broken and the replacement set that was sent out after adults gently used the watch once was showing signs of imminent breakage (plastic discoloring to the white of stress). Such a bummer.
