Newest Monstrosity From Eafengrow
Having tested several of their models, I was excited to get this latest brute and put it thru its paces. The knife is very heavy, typical of their latest fixed blades that are overbuilt for hard use.It handles well, I was at first not sure of the dimpling on the scales - but they do serve to enhance the grip when chopping and keep slippage to a minimum. Good balance, and it eats up wood like an axe. The choil design / guard does lend itself to choking up for finer tasks if needed, but it’s probably too large for that purpose to be effective in that scenario. But if this is your only tool on hand…Steel is excellent, the Sleipner is a great pick for a knife like this. I thought at first it was not as sharp as needed out of the box, but after it processed a bunch of wood and kindling it easily sliced thru corrugated cardboard without seizing.Sheath is fine, but I think it may need a leg tie or something to keep it from clanging against your thigh - again, this thing is big! Maybe a rig like what WTG uses on some of their largest bowies. All in all, another nice piece from their product line. Excellent fit, finish and good value.

Definitely a chopper
This thing is amazing. It feels like a small sword in the hand. Shaving sharp. Definitely a lifetime blade.

One awesome knife, in every way except 1...and that 1 is NOT a dealbreaker
It came sharpIt came thick, shaped very well everywhere on the blade...looks/feels indestructable. It is finished very well, they know what they are doing. My ONLY complaint, is the handle ergos are a bit small...yes I have Gorilla hands that can palm a basketball with 3 fingers and a thumb...but so do a lot of other Americans. My hand fits tight, but is able to hold on ok....so even for big hands...it works...but could be better.Oh man, when I put my index finger in the huge choil...it feels AWESOME....but thats not possible to use for heavy work...finger too close to the edge....so just XL size the handle Eafengrow...and you will really do good in this American market.Knife is a winner, I have spent 200-300 on similar knives...and not had the smile I had going over this one.

Absolute Great Blade!!!!
Another GREAT knife from Eafengrow! Eafengrow knifes are definitely the best bang for your buck! The overall look is amazing and it feels like a quality knife. The G10 grips have sleek designs and feel great in your hands. The Sleipner blade is very robust and feels very durable. The full tang and ergonomic grip really make this knife feel indestructible. The kydex sheath has the perfect amount of retention making it easy to deploy the knife and feels super secure. This is another great knife from Eafengrow and will go nicely into the collection. I highly recommend this knife to anyone needing an EDC, hunting/ camping knife, or even just adding to the collection.

Beast of a Blade!
I’ve been collecting, and more importantly using knives for many years. I have a wide range of knives in my collection, from custom hand made knives all the way down the line to inexpensive knives. I no longer have “safe Queens” as I decided many years ago to only keep and collect knives I’m willing to use. So I carry and use knives ranging from my Randall Made Knives, Chris Reeve Knives, Benchmade, Tops, Cold Steel etc. the list goes on and on and do not wish to bore anyone. My intent is to express that I have vast knowledge and first hand experience with many different knives. With that said, I’ve been watching and reading about this company for a while and decided to give them a try. I’m happy to say I’m very glad I did. I’ve now purchased three knives and all have been fantastic! This latest addition is truly a beast of a knife and after spending a week in the woods with it (along with my Cold Steel Trailmaster- O1 steel) I can honestly say I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this knife to anyone looking for a near indestructible knife that they can trust to get them through the harshest conditions one can imagine. It is one heck of a camp/ survival knife that had impeccable fit and finish, the kydex sheath works great and is easy to use and adjust to your liking and the handle feel is superb. I’m not one for writing reviews but on the rare occasion when I find a product I feel is worth it I will. I hope this review helps anyone who might be on the fence about purchasing this knife (or any other from this company) to just take that leap of faith and give it a go. I know I truly am!!

Awesome blade, Terrible handle ergo’s
This is a beast of a blade, quality is very good. However Eafengrow needs to size the handle ergo towards western style hands and not Asian style hands. I want to like Eafengrow but their handles on the fixed blades are running pinchy tight of you have XL hands. Half of the Knife is in the Handle Ergo’s. Eafengrow needs real men to test their blades. 3 out of 5.

Great Knife
I've got many big fix blades from big name brands and this knife rivals them and is actually better than some of them. I've put this and the other 3 fix blades I've got from this company through brutal testing that have destroyed knives costing several times what they cost. I need to have confidence in the knives I use since there could be times my life depends on them performing as they should so toughness and durability is a priority. I have many of this companies folders as well and I'm happy with all of them as well. This company produces some of the best bargains dollar for dollar imo.
