We're Pregnant! The First Time Dad's Pregnancy Handbook: The Go-To Pregnancy Book for Men Paperback – 24 May 2018

This book is so simple and goes through the pregnancy week by week. I've found it more useful then any of the books designed for women. I highly recommend it!

I ordered this book for my husband to be able to get an insight into the pregnancy and what I was going through and it was absolutely brilliant. It is very informative with plenty of facts, he loves the week by week countdown to the pregnancy and the helpful hints of what he can be doing to help me and help us prepare together. All the other father books I tried were quite patronising or seemed to be aimed at young dads or unwilling dads but this was is perfect - highly recommend it!

The book has some very good information on progression of the baby in the womb, how the mother might be feeling, changes she’s going through but be warned, this book is extremely American... so much so that when I finished reading it I thought it would sue me. It’s very clear that they do things very differently from the UK for how it’s written. Still a decent read however.

Got this for my boyfriend! He loved it and it’s a funny take on being a first time dad! It’s packed with helpful information and I love the section each week which tells him what he could buy me to earn brownie points😉 would highly reccomend to any first time parents !!

Provided enough humour and relatable references to give me information on what's going on. Especially when I've looked at other books where you need to Google what the actual fruit/veg is since the references are so obscure sometimes!

My partner loved it. I bought it as a present when I found out I was pregnant. My partner really liked it, he says it really useful and he helped him to have a better understanding of a pregnancy in general and my symptoms too.

Bought this for myself as an expectant Dad.Good bits:- Nice breakdown week by week- The little tables which run down the changes of Mum and Baby are informativeNot-so-good:- Some of the ideas in here feel a bit outdated, perhaps misogynistic or sexist in nature.- VERY US-centric. Doesn't translate well into the experience of those in the UK or elsewhere.It's just very okay. There are certainly some good elements of this book, but the outdated ideas and focus on fathers in a secondary role is somewhat offputting.

After 4 days I had it with me.The book is very fun, I have just started.
