Good for docking lower powered laptops but can't supply more than 65W on USB-C PD
The product page mentions multiple times the dock station comes with a Dell 130W AC adapter but in the fine print on the technical specifications it says the USB-C power distribution is limited to only 65 watts. Many medium to higher power laptops can't run off 65 watts so you can't just connect a USB-C and go for many laptops. I understand it's a limitation of the product and not the company that refurbished the product. They did include a list of compatible Dell laptops so it's not an oversight on their part but it would be nicer if they included the power limitations on the USB-C PD instead of burying it 3/4 of the way down and only a single line as that is important information in selecting a docking station for a laptop.Other than the power output limitation it does supports expanding your displays and connectivity with DP 1.2 over USB-C and ethernet over the same connection. I don't have a 4K monitor so can't comment or verify the resolutions above 2K resolution. The particular dock station I received was very clean suggesting it wasn't used that much by the previous owner. For a simple expansion that doesn't break the bank this is an option if you want to add multiple monitors for your laptop which is what I needed.

Works with HP Laptop, Lightening Data C, and simple HUB extension
Refurbished Dell Docking Station Bundle. Arrived well packaged, but there were no manufacturers instructions included with this one, just the parts, as photographed. Had a few scratches on it, but it worked perfectly fine. I was able to run an additional inexpensive HUB through it, and got full function with my devices like keyboards, printer etc... but not so with the mouse dongle nor the JSAUX, which rather actually drained my phone of charge when I connected the three together. I got full function of Lightening C data transfer with the cable connected directly to the station though. The single HDMI port worked fine with both the cable included as well as my own cable, and the laptop and monitor both fuctioned, however my splitter would not connect to it, so I wasn't able to configure dual monitor split screens with a total of 3 screens (monitors 1 and 2 plus the laptop) through it. The red splitter just blinked when I plugged in all the cables. I had to route my monitors back to the old configuration I had before, so I'm not sure what the listing meant about dual monitors. Maybe it just meant the laptop screen and 1 additional monitor, because that does work just fine. I think I'm going to have to try a different splitter or else research more about what other accessories I might need to configure split monitor usage with this docking station. I have only average tech skills, but I was able to connect this together, even without instructions. I really hoped that this would have connected all my monitors. It still turned out useful for me though, but only by virtue of the fact that I was able to connect another HUB through it. I was able to expand the number of available ports with the added benefit of running these through their own power bank. Overall, I'm satisfied with this. Everything worked on the docking station. The only concern I had was with my splitter not operating through it.(I did not try using the cable with long, blue, square end - I don't have any devices for such. Also, I don't know what the 2 long ports on the back numbered 1 and 2 are - I don't recognize what they are for, and they don't fit any cables or devices I have now). Maybe they're for gaming.
