2 lbs of oval or round fresh Kumquats

Fresh and High Quality!
We were so thankful to find these in time for last Thanksgiving, required for a particular stuffing recipe we like. This is a difficult bit of produce to acquire in Northwest Arkansas, even as a preserved product, so discovering this fresh, high-quality fruit for quick delivery was a blessing to us.

Beware of varying quality of this fruit
I had previously purchased a 2 pound box of these kumquats and they were GREAT, so after we ate those, I ordered the fruit again. It was TERRIBLE! Almost all were green and I tried to eat a few of them and they so sour I had to spit fruit out. Then I found a few, VERY, VERY few that were almost completely yellow. To my dismay they tasted like sour poison. I mean really terrible. So then I googled and found out that kumquats, when picked, are as ripe as they will ever get and so my hopes of ripening the fruit was hopeless. Well, I waited maybe 4 days with high hopes that my google search was wrong, but in fact the only difference after the ripening attempt were fruits that had become moldy. So basically I spent over 30 dollars for an inedible product. The ONLY way you should purchase from this company is if they send you a money back guarantee that thefruit will be at least edible. As I said, the first box I bought were wonderful; the second order was as far from the first as you can get. So if you’re willing to gamble more than 30 dollars, go for it and hope you’ll get a good box of fruit instead of the terrible ones I got.

Beautiful fruit
Arrived faster than expected and absolutely wonderful!! Packed very well and no apparent damage. Haven't had a bad one yet. Some start off quite tart, but then you get a burst of sweet. Loving them!! Thanks!

Satisfies your craving!
I ordered from this "seller" - Melissa's - twice. The first package arrived in pristine shape, having been packed in a standard box that one can get from the USPS.The second order arrived in a box that looked like it had been reused, and it was definitely bounced around a bit - even though it said "Fragile", one end of the box stoved in.The fruit in both was good. But the fruit in the first box was literally intermingled with branches and leaves! The second box was only fruit, although it needed more cleaning.None of the fruit was rotted, so far it's tasted wonderful, and since I cannot get kumquats locally, I will take these over nothing any day of the week.My thought is that Melissa's contracts with individual growers to fulfill their orders, and then the individual grower actually fulfills the order - especially since the return addresses on the boxes were different. This could account for the differences that other customers are noticing in the quality of the produce they are receiving. The thing is, if you adore kumquats, and you cannot buy them in your local grocers? This is definitely a deal! And I do adore kumquats.

Tasty
We love kumquats but can’t get them locally. They were pricey but a great treat. They came packaged very carefully and I will order again.

Mold
Molded. I know it probably has to be hard to keep fresh. Still a bummer

THESE REALLY SUCKED & ARE NOT RETURNABLE!
I simply wanted to get a message to the seller and explain to them that these are extremely bitter. They were picked entirely too young. The insides are dehydrated. They’re very dry. The worst kumquats I’ve ever ordered from Amazon. I don’t remember where I got my other batch from earlier in the season, but next time I’ll be getting them from that place rather than from here I know they may not be returnable, but I would expect a full refund and at that point I might be satisfied with the customer service.
