WORKS very well.
Perfect use for 9V batteries that are rotated out of smoke detectors. Wish there was a red LED version.

Did not fit 9V battery
In order to get these to fit my 9V battery I needed to break the rib on the negative side.

Nice but definitely not a spotlight
That’s nice illumination, which will show up in an area, but it’s not like a spotlight. I like them.

Very bright and compact.
I use my old smoke detectors batteries. I just hate to waist things. You may have to slightly adjust the snap on contacts. Cob led is extremely bright even on low.

An area light only
I was looking for a light that provides light for a distance but this light provides lighting for an immediate area only. There is little difference of light output between the bright and brighter modes . I contacted the seller and Amazon regarding my issue but have not received satisfaction towards solving my issue. I have purchased other brands that are identical and they provide bright light for a reasonable distance. I guess if you need an area light, these lights are fine but I will purchase other lights that meet my needs in the future.

very bright! this is not a long range light. Its built to light up ambiently, not projected.
