It’s a fan!
So I’m really impressed with this fan, one for the decent value and two for how much better this is than most other, more expensive, fans. The round base - perfect, good weight to it and will keep the fan sturdy. Being round as well is much better than those flimsy ‘X’ style bases where just the act of stubbing your toe on it causes it to crease and never provide a stable base ever again.Height - now initially I was a bit, not upset, but ever so slightly irked by the detachable pole sections that screw into each other rather than a telescope style but then quickly realised this is a WAY better way of doing it as you can have it as a (albeit a rather large & powerful) desk fan or its full height. It’ll save those traditional telescope systems that barely change the height from eventually failing and you end up taping it into position but it still somehow manages to drop its measly 20cm height to it “low” position.Air flow - I work at a small GA airport and we have planes that can’t move as much air as this. Even on speed one it’s like my old rubbish fan on high speed and then cranking the voltage up 50v. Amazing airflow and the 5 bladed prop helps lower the noise.Oscillating angle - at a nice square 90 degrees it really can cover the whole room in a corner. Unless of course you have a warehouse for a living room then you may need more/bigger fans.Remote control - yes. It has one.Comfort - it was ok for about 15 minutes, but I found from this and previous experiences that the fan works better when you’re not wearing it, but this is a personal preference.Ease of assembly - as mentioned above it screws together and feels solid. Picking it up by the poles feels sturdy enough. As a side note I really like the whole thing being the same size in diameter, no bulky switch controller that feels one press away from breaking. The fan head itself was really easy to do and quite intuitive. No more fiddling around with the stupid slide things on other fans and the inexplicably tiny nut and bolt you have to contend with, lose and replace with a cable tie. There is just a fair warning a tiny screw for overall safety of course but it is just a screw, no having to try and thread the tiny bolt onto the tiny nut.Effectiveness - what more can I say apart from; Yes. It blows air. 10/10 would buy again! And now I’ve ticked all the relevant suggested criteria for a review I will leave you with two final thoughts:1 - the only negative thing and it does not bother me in the slightest as I love white noise to go to sleep to, but please note the brand is SilentNight, it doesn’t mean this will be silent in the night. It’s a big fan for moving a lot of air, it’s incredibly difficult to have a ‘silent’ fan unless you want to pay a stupid amount of money. And finally 2, I’ve owned a few fans over the years, and this but far is the best one I have owned. As mentioned above, it’s not the quietest one I’ve had and yes while it does have a sleep mode, it from what I can gather just speeds up and slows down fan speed one, I won’t probably use this mode, but for those wondering that’s what it does so you’ll get a blast of speed one for a few seconds then it slowly winds down to near silent the ramps back to speed one.Laters!👋[Picture of fan with 7ft cat tree for scale (cat not included)]

Excellent fan, very powerful, not noisy
Excellent fan. Easy to assemble, although assembly instructions booklet it rather rudimentary. You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver, for the single small screw that holds the plastic locking clamp in place at the bottom of the rotor grill.Nice and heavy circular base helps to provide stability. The rotor is clear plastic and very light, so needs to be handled with care when assembling the fan, as putting excessive pressure could crack it.However it is fabulous in moving and pushing air. The height adjustment is not telescopic, you would need to remove sections of the support column to achieve three different heights, but this is quite easy and can be done very quickly as the support column sections thread into each other and can be removed readily.Additionally the rotor head and surrounding grille of the fan has a tilt function, and can be tilted at 4 different angles along a horizontal axis, starting with slightly upward tilt, then level, then a lower tilt and finally a sharply lower tilt that points the rotor towards the ground at about a 45 degree angle. There is an internal ratchet function that clicks and locks into place when tilting the rotor through the 4 positions.Control buttons on the main column are touch-type and very sensitive, so can be activated with a very light touch.Remote control is tiny but has full-function, so a nice and useful feature to change the speed, swing, on/off and timer. In terms of speed, I found even the first speed setting itself to be more than adequate for a medium sized room. Sound level at first speed setting is a gentle hum, and not at all loud or disturbing.Second and third speed settings move a considerably higher volume of air and the noise level increases correspondingly, but it is still a hum rather than a roar. The highest speed setting is probably useful for a large garage or warehouse, it is too strong to be used in a bedroom or living room, unless one likes the really powerful wind speed and does not mind the louder noise.Build quality and finishing of the fan are excellent, it looks more expensive than the price paid.Only quibble is that the power cord could have been made longer, it is about 2m, but would have been really good to have a 3m or a bot longer power cord, to enable placing the fan anywhere in the room, even if a power socket is not present in the immediate vicinity.Overall I am very happy with the build quality, performance and price-point of this fan and the noise level is completely acceptable as part of the overall value proposition. The only unknown as of now is the longevity, and how many years it will last. That only time will tell, but since the finish and workmanship of the fan are very good, hopefully it will last several years.

Very good fan for the money
Excellent fan, very sturdy fixtures and very easy to assemble. As all fans the higher you have the setting the more noise level it produces but this is not a problem factor. It has great air pushing ability and the remote control is nice and haven’t had any issues with it connecting, the ability to turn off the Digital display is a nice feature.Very happy with this product and compared to big brands this is quality if you don’t want to spent a load. It does its job very well

Nice fan
Just received it today. Assembly was quite easy, although the instructions could be more detailed, but you shouldn't have any issues working it out. The fan itself works great, blows air very well and the remote control works fine, although the the remote does feel very flimsy. But it does the job. The speed settings seem well tuned, the highest setting is very noisy. The one thing stopping me from giving it full stars is I found that moving around near the fan causes the fan to sway slightly. But overall I say it seems like a quality fan.

Sturdy
This is the second one I’ve bought, this has to be the best fan I have ever owned, I purchased this for my daughters bedroom as she wanted one when she saw the one I bought for the living room. Not too noisy, and very sturdy, and the remote control makes it easier for me as I’m disabled. Very very happy with this amazing fan SUPERB 😍

Very very good product
This is the best fan I have used so far. The air flow is too powerful as it is able to push the curtains from one side to another side. I was using two fans before I bought this. Now only this is good enough. Only downside is , it is bit noisy.Otherwise this is the best product you can get. Very good value for the price.
