Purchased this set as a gift for my sons. One had a little crack in it, where you insert the arrow. I didnt think much of it but within a week, it ended up cracking all the way through. I immediately contacted the company and the customer service was top notch. They apologized and assured us that they would send a replacement. They went above and beyond, sending a whole new set. 2 very sturdy bows and some more arrows. The new bows, and the one from my original purchase, have held up to my wild boys and they have a blast with them. We have loved this product and plan to purchase from this company again. Definitely a great value for your money. The perfect starter bows for kids, with rubber tips on the arrows. Very pleased to find something handmade and beautifully crafted for my kids, as opposed to all the plastic, toy bows and arrows.

This is a nice looking set but it is very small. It seems more decorative than functional. The manufactured recommended age says 13 and up. My daughter is 13 and 5'4", when she held it up we couldn't help but laugh because it's so small. She received it on 2/9 and hasn't touched it since. There is no way she can properly use this. She looked like Goliath holding David's bow. The age should go down at least 4 or 5 years. The craftmanship while at first glance is nice, there are some rough places where the wood feels like it could splinter. The tips are soft and rubbery so they are not dangerous. They won't stick to anything when released. The only thing I think they might go through is a bubble. I am not saying a child won't enjoy this but I just feel the age suggestion is way off.

I bought these for my 6 and 4 yr olds. They've had a lot of fun with them. Good value for the money.

I read former reviews about children getting splinters but thought I would sandpaper the rough spots prior to gifting. However when I experimented to see if this was good for a gift by shooting the arrows I too Immediately got a splinter. Also arrow an broke on back end where it fits on bow string part of another arrow sheared off. It is also true the arrows are weak and spindly and warped . Returning it disappointed.

I bought these for my 2 grandsons for Christmas, and they loved them! They set up targets to shoot at, and were getting pretty accurate. The arrow actually fits through a hole in the bow, making it much easier to shoot, as the arrow on a conventional bow slips off the rest so easily. Big hit! (No pun intended ;) )

A bit rough, with splintery bamboo, and the cord comes undone. The arrows are not straight, and I think even my 4 year old was disappointed with the quality. Fine for playing pretend, if you don’t mind it falling apart. Cute idea, but is not worth the money.

These bow and arrow sets are pretty impressive. They are the most realistic toy bows and arrows I've seen. My almost seven year old son was absolutely thrilled with this set. My almost five year old daughter is happy with hers, too. Of course, the kids have rules to follow when playing with them. The bows shoot the arrows an impressive distance for toys. My husband tried them, and I estimate the arrows flew approximately 30 feet. Much better than the plastic with suction cup type. I only have two suggestions for improvement. The arrows could use a little sanding. I had to remove a few splinters from my daughter's fingers. And, it would be nice if all 10 arrowsper set fit in the quivers. I still feel that five stars is a fair rating for this handmade, realistic toy.
